Matt kisses me once again before Shawn comes through the door. Matt springs away from me, to the other side of the kitchen.
"Sky"
"Shawn" I retaliate, still confused by Matt's action.
"How did you do it?"
"Do what?"
"Find the perfect girl for me before I'd even asked you to"
"So you like her?"
"I really like her"
"Saint Skylar strikes again" I laugh
"What?"
"Nothing" I laugh again- where is Hayes?
"I think I'm gonna ask her out"
"Like on a date?"
"Yeah! I'm gonna be proper romantic and everything"
"I'd kill for a bit of romance in my life" I say sarcastically, looking to Matt to see if he got the hint.
"Maybe I'll set you up with a boy seeing as you found me the future Mrs Mendes"
"Don't you think you're going a bit fast?" Matt chimes in "You only met her less than an hour ago"
"I'm a great believer of when you know, you know." Matt looks confused "Love at first sight" Shawn clarifies.
"Oh, I get you, maybe we could double date with you guys sometime?" Matt says
"We?" Shawn says, puzzled.
"I asked Sky to be my girlfriend" Matt explains
"Are you sure that's a good idea Sky?"
"I'm standing right here you know!" Matt says raising his voice.
"Yeah" I smile at Matt "I'm sure"
"If you hurt her-" Shawn starts but Matt cuts him off.
"I won't hurt her"
"I'll hurt you"
"Woah I'm so scared Shawn" Matt says in a high pitched voice, obviously being sarcastic.
"Matt, he's just looking out for me. You haven't really made a good reputation for yourself have you?" I say backing Shawn up. Matt walks forward to me and grabs my wrists, pushing me against the wall.
"Matt!" Shawn yells. He can't add anything else before Matt stares deeply into my eyes and pushes his lips against mine.
"But you are a good kisser" I whisper, making him laugh.
"I'm gonna leave you two to it" Shawn says awkwardly, backing out of the room.
"You can't just go round starting arguments Matt" I say when we are finally alone.
"If they all turn out like this then I'll keep doing it" Matt smirks, kissing me again.
"So what was that about?" I ask
"What?"
"When Shawn came in. You jumped 5 miles away from me!"
"I guess I'm just used to sneaking around with girls"
"Why would you bring that up with your girlfriend?"
"Sorry" He says stepping away from me "I keep screwing everything up"
"I know you do" I laugh. Matt jumps as we hear the front door slam. "Did that scare you princess?" I joke, taking his hand. "Come on" I drag him through the house.
"Sky! How was your first day?" Aaron beams
"It was... Fine" I smile. He smiles back and goes into the lounge.
"What happened?" Jack J asks me- seeing straight through my lie.
"You know.. People"
"And what did these 'people' do?"
"Don't worry about it I can handle it" I shrug walking to the lounge.
"Sky!" Jack calls after me but stops, standing mouth open wide at the sight before him. Capricorn is sat on Shawn's lap and they're full on making out.
"Yes Shawn! Getting them girls!" He woops
"Pig" I scoff at him
"You love it" he teases wrapping his arms around me from behind.
"Love you? Never!" I joke. He looks hurt. I kiss him on the cheek without even thinking. "Love you" I laugh
"Knew it!" He cheers "Now tell JJ all your troubles" I pull him up the stairs and into the bathroom. I lock the door and slump onto the floor.
"It was horrible"
"What happened?" He says closing the toilet lid and sitting on it "I want the full details"
"Well Taylor dropped me off and instantly everyone crowded around me asking me all these personal questions like: are you dating Taylor or Nash or hayes? And will Jack Gilinsky follow me on twitter? And crap like that"
"Right.."
"Then I met Capricorn"
"Capricorn?"
"Shawn's new tonsil tennis partner" I clarify.
"Oh that's a really weird name"
"Yeah. Then I got really lost and some 15 year old tried to hit on me- totally gross right?"
"Um what about Hayes?" Jack says as if I'm talking crazy.
"His name was Cameron actually" I say shutting him up.
"Great. What else?"
"Then I called Nash and he comforted me"
"Why didn't you call me?"
"I did! You didn't answer!"
"Oh yeah, I saw the missed call, I figured you'd butt-dialled me or something"
"Then some girl tried telling me that I was flirting with nash and gave me a stupid 'mrs grier' nickname that everyone has decided to use as well. She also tried telling me she was Nash's biggest fan but didn't know his name is Hamilton!"
"His name is Hamilton?"
"Fake fan alert!"
"I'm joking- obviously I knew that!"
"Oh and a JG lookalike told me that him and I were going to bang"
"Sounds like you had an eventful first day!" Jack says standing up "All I got was a shove into a locker on mine" He pulls me into a hug "It gets better I promise!"
"I hope so! Thanks Jack" I say unlocking the door and making my way downstairs to a very angry looking Matt.
"I can't believe you would fuck him right in the bathroom after I poured my heart out to you!" He screams
"You really think that's what happened in there?" Jack says, tensing. "She just told me about what a shit day at school she had. Didn't know anything about that did you? That's because you're an asshole and I'm her best friend. Plus, you don't control her!" Jack says defensively.
"Well I'm her boyfriend now. I can do whatever I want." Matt retaliates, grabbing my wrist, pulling me down the remainder of the stairs and onto the couch. He pushes me down and climbs on top of me kissing me roughly, his hands wondering over my body.
I try pushing him off but it's no use- he's too heavy. I lay as still as I possibly can until he's finished- or at least I thought he's finished. I see him lying on the floor, his nose bleeding and look up to see Taylor breathing very heavily, towering over Matt.
