Try 1

Dallas looked at the front door, knowing he has to walk in sooner or later. He tapped his thigh and sighed. He opened the door and sat down next to Tim.

"Tim, I need to tell you something."

"Yeah?" Tim listened closely to him.

"I-" Dallas chickened out. "You're out of milk!" He rushed to say. Tim chuckled.

"How am I still alive with your awkwardness." Dallas' friend joked.

Try 2

"Come on, Dal." Dallas told himself before he left Buck's. "He ain't gonna hate you." He made sure only positive thoughts were being said, he finally wants to listen to Ponyboy.

He walked into Tim's house and called his name. "Yeah?" Tim peeked his head out of the kitchen.

"Can I talk to you?" Dallas asked. Tim came out and sat down in the chair across from him.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. Um. I'm..." Dallas took a breath. Nope! Can't do it! Do it! "I'm, non-binary and pansexual." Dallas waited for a slap, a punch, something.

Instead, he got a hug. A warm, comforting tight hug. He let a few tears escape and then he let it all out. "I just didn't want you to not accept me..." He whispered painfully.

"I would never! I will always accept you and be there for you!" Tim said before hugging him again.
