It gets happier! I promise!

"They're so cute."

"Shut it, Horseman."

"It's true!"

"I agree with Ponyboy."

"Pepsi!"

"You're gonna wake them!"

Brook heard whispering near her. She soon opened her eyes and saw the gang staring at her.

She sat up with a jerk, using her hand. She soon heard someone make a groan. "I'm sorry!" She said frantically as she watched Ian crawl into a small ball, his hand where she punched him.

"It's fine." Ian exhaled.

"Look what you did, Horseman!" Steve yelled at Ponyboy. "You woke up the couple!"

"What? No! Gross! I mean!" Brook rushed to speak but spoke the wrong defensive words. "Not gross! I wouldn't mind! I mean!" She mentally cursed herself. "We're friends." She finally got out.

"Friends who sleep together." Dallas teased. Brook grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. "Ouch. That hurt." He said sarcastically. Brook grabbed her shoe and Dallas made a high pitch squeak as he flinched.

"Real manly, Dallas." Johnny smiled. Dallas gave him a playful glare.

Ian just sat there, tired. He did get a wake up call by being punched in the gut.

"I'm sorry, Ian..." Brook apologized again. She felt extremely guilty.

"It's fine."

Brook looked at the staring boys. "Hey! Leave my room!" She yelled at them. They stood there until Brook stood up with an angered look on her face.

The boys skidded out. Luckily Johnny had the respect to actually shut the door.

She sat on the opposite side of her bed. Which was in the corner. Ian was on the end of her bed.

"You. Are not. Gross." Brook reassured, making them both laugh.

"I mean...have you heard the thing I've done?"

"Don't think I wanna." Brook chuckled. "I'mma hang out with the gang. You can take a nap in here if you want. I don't care." She shrugged and headed out.

"Sooooo!" Ponyboy said excitedly the second she stepped into the living room.

"So?" Brook looked confused.

"You like him." Tim sat casually as Dallas cheated at their card game.

"What? No!"

"You do to." Ponyboy butted in.

"Do not."

"Do to." Darry added.

Brook went silent. "Ok fine! Maybe I do."

"Ha!" Steve pointed at Johnny. "Told ya!"

"You were going against Pony...I agreed with you..."

Steve then pointed to Pony. "Ha! Told ya!"

"What?! It's not even obvious!"

The gang looked at her with a face. "Is it?" They nodded. "Damnit..."

"But Ian's too weird to know!" Steve tried making the situation better.

"Steve. You can't make jokes like me if you tried..." Two-Bit gave Steve a small smile.

"So. You do like Ian?" Curly asked me. Brook nodded. "I ship."

"You what?!" Everyone asked.

"Where you think two people are cute together basically. I don't know...I heard socs saying it and I thought y'all knew."

"When are you gonna tell him?" Tim asked.

"Never!" Brook was never one to tell someone she liked them. If she did she would panic and regret it.

"Oh come on!" Dallas complained.

"You know I can't do that." Broik crossed her legs.

"Then I will." Dallas shrugged and hopped up.

"The hell you will!" Brook tackled Dallas. Which didn't do any good. She hung onto Dallas and tried getting him to turn around. "Dallas stop walking!"

Dallas soon set her so she was over his shoulder. "Dallas! Stop it! This isn't funny! Dallas I'm gonna fall!" She panicked due to Dally's height.

"No can do, doll."

"Sodapop!" Brook called for her brother.

"Can't help." Soda shrugged.

Brook made a frustrated grunt. "Texas?" She looked around, knowing he was right in front of her bedroom door.

"Yes?"

"Would you believe me if I told you I was full on lesbian?"

"No."

"Texas?"

"Yes?"

He just stood there in front of her door. Probably waiting for her to stop asking questions so he can walk in.

"I'm fucked aren't I?"

"Yep." He said just as he opened the door.

I lied. I don't like this anymore! But I'm on Pt. 4 so I can't give up!
