Hyunjin

"I guess I'm doing it. Well, I have been writting journals for years now, though not very regularly. Understand me, it's difficult to keep doing it when you can rest instead from all the dancing! 

But I want to do it to help me calm down and get my emotions together! Lately my everyday routine is a bit chaotic since the announcement. I'M PART OF STRAY KIDS!!!

I still can't believe it. And, I will have main dancer position, not only visual. I'm so happy to be acknowledged for something I'm talented and worked hard for.

Only counting on my appearance would have been hypocrite. I know some idols do that but like seriously, how can you do that! I don't believe you will feel fulfilled if you do that and it's like not truly existing for who you really are.

And I wanted to prove my sunbae-nims wrong. It really hurt whenever they said I didn't need to dance or when they laughed when I said I'd become main dancer. That's what motivated me to prove them wrong. And I did it! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud.

Well, enough talking about that. Let's talk about the members.

Since the announcement, the nine of us moved to a new dorm where we will live together and get to know ourselves better.

Well, we already know each other a bit since we trained together. But I'm very happy they will be my members.

We have great chemistry and our leader is trustworthy. I believe he can carry Stray Kids far! We each have different talents and I'd say we have different levels too.

Some need more training but I believe we'll get better and better. We will all be good enough.

I noticed the maknae had struggles with singing lessons. One day I passed his private lesson room and heard him singing.

I thought it was so beautiful eventhough it lacked confidence and depth. So I decided to help, in my own way.

I followed him everywhere ever since, asking him to sing. He was so cute and flustered, it amused me so much but also gave him more confidence."

- Hyunjin! calls a voice from the hallway of the dorm. "We're going!"

Hyunjin abandons the journal straight away and picks his stuff quickly to rush out. He almost forgot that they had a meet up with their manager.

When he joins the others, they are already leaving. He climbs in the second car and sits next to Changbin. He immediatly clings to him and rests his head on his shoulder, the later not disliking it.

Well, they all know how clingy Hyunjin is with every member. Surprisingly, almost every member likes hugs and skinship and do it willingly.

Jeongin who is seated in the front catches a glimpse of them cuddling through the car mirror and feels a pang in his chest. He doesn't understand why, but somehow he doesn't like Changbin too much at this moment.
