Chip POV
I dropped Lincoln off at daycare and went to work.
I worked at Jacks office. I was one of the receptionists. I checked people in and such.
It's around noon my shift ends at 3. Jack ends at 330. I already checked 10 little boys and girls on what a day.
It soon struck 3 o clock. I clocked out and headed home but first I picked up Lincoln from daycare.
We got home then I started dinner then jack came home. I was sitting on the couch.
"So How was the appointment" I asked jack
"Fine just fine" jack chuckled.
"I remember when I had my first cavity my brother was so pissed because he didn't know I kept sweets and stuff like that in the house" I said
"How did u have all those sweets?" Jack asked
"Well I snuck them home and hid them in my room but my brother found out because he was looking for my phone then he looked in my desk drawer and found my secret stash" I said
"Damn but thank god he's never at our house we have a bunch of junk he wouldn't like" Jack said
"Yea" I say
Then a few minutes later the doorbell rang. I opens the door and it was Sam
"Hello? What you doing here?" I asked
"I wanna talk to you about something may I come in?" Sam asks
"Sure" I say and let him in and sat him on the couch I sat with him
"So I have been needing a new assistant" Sam points out
Jack walks in and sits in the recliner with Lincoln in his lap.
"Sam you know I already have a job" I point out
"This is a better one you'll make more money" sam says
I looked at Jack. "It's your choice Chip it won't matter because I have another receptionist" jack says
I look at Sam. "But I don't know anything"
"I am going to teach you everything you need to know plus I have books upon books you can use" Sam says
"Okay but what about scrubs and other stuff" I say
"I have plenty we wear almost the same size don't worry" sam says
"Why do you want me to become your assistant?" I question
"I want you to follow in my footsteps and I know you don't like the dentist but you will get over it" sam says
"I don't know let me think for a minute" I say
Sam looks at me with puppy dog eyes he really did want me to work with him.
"I would love too Sam as long it's alright with Jack" I say
"It's fine hun" jack says
"Well I want you to come tommorow to start"
Sam said.
