Freddie's POV:
It was Rogers 25th birthday coming up and it was his first birthday with me as his boyfriend, and I was determined to make it amazing! Deaky and Bri where helping me plan his surprise birthday party, and let me tell you it was going to be fabulous. We had people like Elton John and David Bowie coming, it was going to be big, and there would be soooo much alcohol and music and it's going to be so fun... well I hope he thinks it is. All I really care about is making Roger happy.

I was over at Brian and Johns, well my old apartment. Me and Roger moved out 5 months after dating which left the other two alone, so no wonder then hooked up. Yeh, they were also dating now- so really we are just a lesbian rock band. All the invites have been sent out and now the stress was really starting to rise, there was just so much to do. I felt like I was planning our wedding not just a birthday party.

"Okay darlings, so I've booked the hotel and the music." I smiled at them, and saw Brian tick off those items on the long list of things that had to be done.

"Um, I got the chef fixed." John smiled passing me the information card of the chef, which I took from him with a thankful smile.

"Looks like we are good on schedule, let's see what's left. Okay so, balloons, lights, seating, tables, flowers, the cake, waiters, wow Fred there is actually quite a lot we have to do." He said scanning the check list with his long index finger.

"Oh I know, but this party of going to be really special." I reassured them. Then the phone rang.

"I'll get it!" Chimed John jumping up from is seat and skipping over to the phone, he was in a very good mood today. I wonder what happened last night ;).

"Oh hi Rog!" He said into the phone cheerily but looked at me with a distressed face. I shook my head violently and he gave me a little nod to show that he understood. "Freddie? Oh no he's not here..... oh well I'm sure he will show up soon, I wouldn't worry about it. Okay... yep, I'll tell you if I hear anything from him... yeh... yeh okay.. okay bu-bye now." He set the phone down and sighed.

"I suppose I should be getting back home to him now then, don't want him to worry." I said getting up from my seat and putting on my jacket.

"Okay, we will carry on tomorrow then." Brian said as he began clearing the table of all the party planning information scattered around on it.

"Yes, only if it's no trouble though. I don't want to be interrupting anything." I felt a little bad for intruding their home like this, even if I was invited to.

"No, it's no trouble at all." John shushed me as he plopped down onto the sofa, pulling a blanket over himself. It was the same blanket from when we all lived here, I remember cuddling Roger with that blanket wrapped around us in the early days of our relationship.

Just as I was about the walk out of the door Brian called after me, "hey Fred." I stopped and span around to face him, "stop stressing about this party, it will be amazing. Roger will love it." He smiled at me placing a friendly hand on my shoulder before turning around and joining Deaky on the sofa, shifting the bass player's small body onto his lap and pulling him close. They were cute I must admit, but no where near as cute as Rog and I.

"Alrighty, bye bye my darling love birds." I chuckled as I walked out the door into the warm July late afternoon air. It was still very sunny and warm outside even though it was about 4:30. I hadn't actually realised how late it had gotten, Roger was probably fretting about where I was.

We didn't live too far from Brian and John's so I had walked, which meant I had to walk back. I decided to slightly jog to get to Rog faster, I began to realise how much I missed him. It had only been a day, not even that. But that's just what love does to you I guess. Once I arrived home I walked in, slipping of my trainers and kicking them aside.

"ROGERRRRR, OH ROGER DARLING!" I shouted up the stairs assuming he was in our room. I soon heard the cushioned sound of footsteps running to the stairs. When I saw a familiar face at the top of the stairs I outstretched my arms for him to run into, and sure enough he did. He sprinted down the stairs grinning madly, on the third step he just decided to jump on me. Lucky he was so light or I would have fallen over- taking him with me.

He pulled apart and stared at me, "where have you been baby?" He pouted,

"I'm sorry darling, I was shopping all day." I lied but he seemed to buy it.

"Come on a walk with me?" He pleaded, holding my handing with his own and swinging them back and forth.

"Of course." I agreed pecking him on the cheek, it was very nice outside and I could do with the exercise.

I slipped on the shoes that I had just taken off and passed Roger his. Then stepped outside, hand in hand and began to walk not really knowing where we were going.

"I'm going to make you dinner tonight." He announced proudly, looking up at me with his big blue eyes to see my reaction.

"Oh really darling? What exactly will you be making." I questioned cocking up one eyebrow.

"Well you will just have to wait and see won't you?"

I watched him, how his soft skin glowed in the sunset light. How his long lashes blinked covering up his beautiful eyes before revealing them again a few moments later, I watched how his blond hair moved slightly in the warm breeze, he was perfect to me.

"Rog."

"Mmhm?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

We had reached a deserted park and I led him over to a tree, we sat down underneath it and he leant his head on my shoulder. It was the perfect moment, just relaxing in comfortable silence I felt at peace knowing he was mine and he wouldn't be going anywhere too soon.

We watched the sun set behind the green scenery around us, and the air soon because slightly chilled. I felt Roger shiver against me, he often was cold unlike me who always had a warm body temperature.

"Here baby, take my jacket." I whispered into his hair. Sitting up from my slumped position by the tree trunk, unzipping my blue jacket.

"Won't you be cold?" He asked me, a concerned look on his face.

"No darling it's fine, I'm actually quite hot." I reassured him draping the jacket around his shoulders.

"Yeah you are." He winked and slipped his arms through the jacket. It was a bit too big for him which made him look so cute. His cheeks where slightly red from where he had caught the sun, and his bedroom eyes hung heaving with tiredness.

"Come on, we better be getting back." I stood up and outstretched my arm for Roger to grab hold of.

We walked back home, Roger holding on to my arm closely the whole way. I could tell he was exhausted and needed to get some rest. We could just cuddle up in the sofa and watch a movie, nothing big.

Once we got into the house Roger went over to the kitchen and started to get all thing cooking equipment out.

"Honey, what are you doing?" I questioned him, wrapping my arms around his small waist.

"I'm making you dinner." He replied, his voice raspy and low.

"No you're not. You are way too tired, we will just get takeaway." I said sternly.

"Okay then, but I will make you dinner soon."

We watched some TV and ate our Chinese takeout, however we didn't really pay much attention to the show we were 'watching' since we were far too busy snogging.

We went to bed early and for the first time in a long time didn't have wild sex. Well he did give me a hand job but that's all, we spooned and after only a few minutes he fell asleep. What on earth had he been doing that made him so tired? Hopefully nothing bad, maybe just some drum practice? God I hope just some drum practice.
