Freddie's POV:
"Oh for fuck sake!" I shouted hitting my hand against the dash board of my car in frustration. The bloody thing wouldn't start! It took me seven times to get it going, what a lovely start to my day. I drove to work, with no music since my radio decided to break. It was a cloudy day, and the ground was littered with puddles due to the fact it had rained all night. I also felt like a sack of shit, since I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night. Whilst Brian slept like a baby next to me, his curls sprawled across both of our pillows.

I pulled up outside the small supermarket I worked at, I got out of the car, "Oh fuck off!" I muttered to myself, I had just stepped in a big fucking puddle. So now my foot is wet, great. This was just went from bad to the worst day ever. I shook my soaked foot in attempt to dry it off, this helped in no way whatsoever instead it just made me look like a mad man.

I walked over the the automatic doors, my left shoe squeaking from the puddle water with every step I took- which obviously annoyed the shit out of me.

"Freddie, you're late!" I heard the recognisable voice of my boss scold me.

"Sorry sir, won't happen again." I apologised and he just nodded his head and went back into his office. Fucktard.

The day went slow, scanning items for rude customers, and reorganising shelf after shelf. A real fucking bore.

"Clean up on isle 3." I heard a female voice ring out through the store speakers, we were short staffed today and since all my colleagues were busy with a customer I had to go visit the scene.

As I walked into the isle my nose scrunched up at the putrid smell off.. no, oh god please no... vomit. Yep. Vomit. I saw it, a big pile of yellowish clumpy mess, most likely produced by a toddler who had eaten one to many sweets.

I begrudgingly walked over to it, my mop dragging behind me. I wanted to cry honestly, sick was one of the things I hate most I the world. I began mopping it up, and if course some got on my jeans, because that's just my luck. My shift was over in about 15 minutes, quite possibly the longest 15 minuets of my life- and they were being spent mopping up sick, and not just ordinary sick, it had orange lumps in it.

I disposed of all the vomit and began to pack up, only 2 minutes to go. I just waited at the till, until my shift was over.. I probably had about 10 seconds to go, but some lady just had to come over with a whole trolly full to the brim of items. I sighed and began to scan, and scan annnd scan. I was probably going very slowly because the woman started asking me (very rudely) to hurry up. What a bitch. But 'the customer was always right' soooo what could I do other than smile and apologise.

FINALLY the scanning was all done and I told the lady her total, which was quite a bit. But she just needed to pay with cash and coupons. After what felt like 5 hours of scanning coupons she left. And so did. I got out of there as soon as possible just in case my boss saw me and tried to make me work 2 shifts.

As I was walking to my car it began to tip it down, so I had to run to my car in order to not be soaked. Also yes, my foot was still wet, and I still had toddler juice on my jeans.

I tried to start my car, but no it didn't want to work and after, (I fuck you not) 27 tries I gave up. I guess I'd just have to get the bus. I got out of my car, and since it was still raining cats and dogs I had to run to the bus stop, which wasn't too close. Of course this run turned into a slow jog, as I didn't have that much athletic ability. As I was jogging slightly along the pavement a nice big van decided that it would be fun to give me a little splash. I gave them the finger, not that they saw it but oh well.

I had given up at this point, I was already as wet as I could get so I just decided to walk. Relief filled my entire body as I finally could see the bus station, with the bus already there. Shit! The bus was already there, I was going to miss it. I started to sprint, shouting at the driver to wait but it was no use, the bus drove off- leaving me stuck in the pouring rain, and I just began to cry.

All I wanted was to be home, with my boyfriend. In the fucking warm, but no. The next bus was in an hour, so I could wait here in the cold for an hour, or just walk home. I chose the latter option. I began to walk, dragging my feet along the wet ground. Feeling more miserable than I ever had in my life. My hands were numb from the cold, but I had decided to wear my jacket with no pockets and my skinny jeans with the smallest pockets in the world. So I just had to suck it up.

It was a long walk home, and I probably should have just waited for the bus but it didn't matter now, I was here. I walked in, knowing Brian was home and wiped my dirty shoes on the welcome rug.

Brian must have heard me come in because he came round the corner to greet me. I just broke down when I saw him and he rushed over to me.

"Oh Freddie, hey, hey what's the matter?" He soothed pulling me into a tight hug, not really seeming to care if he got wet.

I just shook my head in response and snuggled into him more. After a while he pulled away and ushered me in, closing the door behind us.

"Did you have a bad day?" He asked wiping away my tears with his thumb, looking very sympathetic. He always knew why I was upset, he could read me like an open book- and he read a lot of them.

I nodded my head in response, feeling to weak to even manage to get the words out.

"Awe baby, here, go take off those wet clothes and I'll run you a bath, how does that sound?" He said sweetly. He always knew what to do.
"And then after, you can tell me all about your shitty day over hot chocolate. Okay?"

"Thank you Brimi, I love you." I smiled at him.

"I love you too Freddie, now go get changed! I don't want you catching a cold!" He stresses, it was nice to see he cared so much. He made the bad days fade away.
