"john. it's not us, this isn't what we do!" brian sighed letting his hands fall from his guitar.

"why are you so afraid of playing something new? i thought you hated repeats, that's what we've always said- how is this any different?" the younger boy asked.

"it's completely different! that's about not rewriting the same songs not the whole bloody genre of out music!" brian argued back.

"you would let freddie try something new!" john scowled.

"i'm not letting you or not letting you do anything! it's not up to me i'm just saying, it's not what we do." brian laughed shaking his head.

"'it's not what we do', brian we make music for god sake! you do know that don't you. you're meant to be the smart one."

before brian could argue back freddie interrupted, "darlings, please. let's not say things we don't mean." he took a deep breath, "now, this is just one song brian, it's just experimental. 39' wasn't exactly rock and roll was it? come on, let john do something."

"it's not just one song, it's a whole album." john replied snarkily crossing his arms over his chest defensively.

brian scoffed.

"deaky? a whole album?" freddie asked in shock.

"yes. i don't see why that's a problem, you've had your fair share of albums dedicated to your ideas let's see.. oh just about every single one." the brunette said venomously.

"yes but all of you have written songs on those albums, have you not?"

"as you are all welcome to on this album." john nodded.

brian shook his head and put his face in his palms before looking back at the bassist.
"and what is this album of yours called?"

"hot space."

the taller boy laughed, "of course it is. queens new disco album, hot space." he laughed some more.

"is everything a do a joke to you brian?" john shouted getting up from his seat and walking over to him. "you never listen to anything anyone else has to say! especially not me or roger! get your head out of your ass!"

"stop talking to me like your bigger than me."

"or what? your gunna hit me? get over yourself."

"john." roger, who had kept quiet throughout this whole ordeal warned the bassist.

john backed away from brian but didn't return to his seat, "nice to see you being so supportive rog." he said sarcastically.

"deaky, please." roger sighed biting down on his lip.

"we are doing this album." the youngest said sternly looking back at brian, "and without any of your fucking guitar solos." he spat turning alway and sitting down next to roger.

"let's all just cool off, okay? take a break go out meet back here in an hour." freddie sighed, looking at the others.

brian nodded taking his guitar off and setting it down, roger took hold off johns hand and lead him outside.

he ushered him into the back seat of his car and got in himself, shutting the door and turning to face his boyfriend.
"john." he said placing his hand on the younger's.

"roger, please i'm tired." he sighed slumping down into the leather seats.

"you have to understand, brian is just being cautious. this isn't just a hobby, it's our lives. look i know this isn't what you want to hear but if this album doesn't sell then we'll loose a lot of money."
