A/N at the end!
(**)
The next few days are a bore. School, home, homework, dinner, bed and repeat. Maybe a little bit of Netflix in between. I don't see mystery new boy again.
Until now.
I'm squirming in my seat, glaring at Ash for throwing bits of rubber at me. She's trying to get my attention, but I don't care. She can tell me after class because I don't feel like getting moved again.
A sudden knock on the door jolts me into reality and I see him standing there. He's in a really cute button tee with quarter length sleeves. I sigh dreamily and stop myself.
What is wrong with you?? Don't be weird.
I pinch my hand quietly.
Don't stare. Don't stare.
Mr. Grande smiles at him and walks over to take his note.
He surveys the classroom and his eyes land on me. I can't read them. Blank. Emotionless, almost. He looks away and so do I, my cheeks tinged pink again.
Mr. Grande clears his throat and looks around for a spare seat. I realise the only one is next to me, or a pretty girl at the back called Sarah.
"Well, welcome to the class Mr Wild." Mr Grande says. I cross my fingers, praying he'll sit him beside Sarah. I seriously don't need another good-looking jerk disturbing me. Sam was enough.
"I think I'll seat you next to Miss. Fray over here as I can keep an eye on your progress, since you'll be sat in front of me. Take a seat. I'm sure Miss. Fray will be fine with this. She shouldn't talk much, shan't we?"
"Of course not Mr.Grande." I say and smile. He smiles back. He likes me, despite my chattiness with my friends.
I glance round to Ashley and her eyes are wide, her mouth pulled into a full grin. She suppresses a laugh. I shake my head and keep my eyes to the desk, trying to ignore the nervous giggle rising within me. I don't want this guy to think I'm crazy.
The boy takes a seat next to me and I keep my head down. He doesn't say anything and neither do I. I have a faint buzzing in my ears. His arms touches mine lightly as he shuffles into his seat. The hairs on my arms stand up a little, almost like they're surprised.
I mentally roll my eyes at myself and get out my notes. I look at the boy and he sighs quietly. I tear my eyes away from his gorgeous profile. Its even better up close. I zone out a little, staring out the window. I can see him mouth something, but I totally miss it.
"What?" I didn't meant to say it so loud and now I'm blushing again. I seriously have got to get a grip.
"I said, you have rubber in your hair." He says and pulls a bit out. He goes to talk to Mr. Grande, but throws me a small smile on his way up.
My cheeks burn pink as I quickly fix my hair, flicking my hair out the way and throwing another glare at Ash. She cracks up laughing, causing a few people to look at her. Hollie grins at me. I pull my seat in slightly and give them a very rude gesture behind my back.
Unfortunately, they only laugh more.
I look up to see the boy looking at me. He quickly looks away but I catch his smile, hidden behind his hand. He rubs his chin and watches whatever Mr.Grande is reading aloud.
Great. I officially look crazy. The one thing I didn't want to do. He leaves the room and I start trying to get on with my work.
He returns a moment later with a laptop and I start to note down the writing on the board, trying to write neatly. We sit in silence for a while before the kid behind me, Cody, pipes up.
