Dave pulled up into the driveway in the Children's Hospital. He drove through the security check because come on, there's no one there, whos going to stop him? He drove up to find a parking spot, Maggy followed him.
" Man, there's a lot of empty spots here," Dave started, " I would expect everyone to stay when the outbreak commenced." Dave continued.
" They probably wanted to come home with their families. Huge mistake," Michaela replied. He parked next to glass double doors, not parked perfectly, a bit on the white line. Maggy parked next to him. Maggy got out of the car and noticed his parking.
" Nice parking," Maggy scoffed. She closed her door. Dave, he mumbled in an obtrusive tone to what she said. He got out of his car and opened his trunk. Maggy also opened hers. Askova got out of Maggys car, and Derek tried to wake Ray up.
" Ray, we're here, wake up," Derek shook her. Ray mumbled. Askova walked over and tried to wake her up to, but she wouldn't move.
Askova grabbed a water bottle from the trunk, opened it, and poured it over Ray. She opened her eyes, looking agitated. She looked over at Askova, face burning. Askova burst out laughing.
" You look like a fish." Askova was still laughing. Derek snickered a little.
" You laugh like a fish," Ray retorted. Derek looked at her.
" Ooh, damn." Askova looked at Derek, scoffed, then walked away. Ray got out of the car, shaking her hair like a dog that just took a bath. Derek got out of the car and helped Maggy grab the stuff in the trunk. Everyone in Dave's car got out and grabbed their stuff. Michaela grabbed her bazooka. Askova helped with the stuff in Maggy's trunk as well. Ray eventually started to help.
They all walked over to the double glass doors when they heard a sound. It was a cannibal.
" Is someone going to kill it?" Lindsay asked.
" Nah, he's not hurting anyone," Askova replied. Lindsay looked at her.
" He?" Lindsay looked confused. Askova looked at her.
" Yeah, can't you see it's a boy?" Askova walked over and pressed the handicapped button on the wall to open the doors. Everyone walked in. Michaela put her bazooka down and walked over to the up and down buttons.
" Which direction?" Michaela asked. Everyone looked at each other. Willow looked behind her to see a sign of all the floors.
" Go up." Michaela nodded and pressed the up button. " By the way, we are on the second floor." Michaela nodded again, and grabbed her knife from her sheath and held it up
" Uh..." Dave started. Michaela held up her hand. When the elevator dinged, she ran over screaming, ready to strike, but saw that there were no cannibals in the elevator. She froze for a minute. Then, she holstered her knife in her sheath, grabbed her bazooka, and walked in the elevator.
" You comin'?" she asked. Everyone had blank stares on their faces. They all walked in the elevator, pressing the button that leads to the lounge, floor seven. There was no elevator music.
" Seriously, no music?" Ray whined.
" That's only in movies," Maggy replied sluggishly. Ray pouted. The elevator dinged. A child spoke through the speakers, a boy, probably 6 or so.
" Thanks for coming to St. Louis Children's hospital. Seventh floor." They all walked out of the elevator when the doors opened.
" That's so creepy." Willowed shivered. They were greeted with a glass wall and sliding glass doors. Lindsay looked up and saw the sensors that opened up the doors.
" Hey guys, isn't that supposed to open the doors when we walk up to the door?" Lindsay asked, pointing up at the sensor. Everyone looked up too.
" Maybe they turned it off. You know, so when a cannibal approaches, the doors don't welcome them in?" Dave suggested. Everyone nodded.
They then saw a little girl walk by, playing on what looks like a phone. She had a medium sized v-cut hairstyle, blonde, and had a blue plastic thing on her wrist. She looked about 7 or so. She was also wearing a hospital dress, with no shoes on. All of a sudden, a can fell out of Dave's backpack.
" Whoops, hehe," Dave chuckled. The little girl jumped when she heard it, looked over and saw them. She looked scared and screamed.
" Doctor Atkinson! Doctor Atkinson, there's deadlies at the door!" the little girl screamed and ran down the hallway to what looks like a receptionist's desk. Everyone looked at Dave.
" Let's hope they at least bring a melee weapon," Dave commented. A couple of minutes later, a guy, probably in his late 20s or 30s, came up with a shotgun, a Mossberg 500, wearing a doctor's outfit and a doctors mask. He had short brown hair. The little girl was behind him, holding his white, slightly bloody doctors coat. She was wearing a mask.
"'Let's hope they at least bring a melee weapon' he says," Askova said, repeating what Dave said, looking at him. Dave looked sheepish. The doctor then took off his mask and looked at the group. He then looked at Askova, who was glaring daggers at him.
