Lily's POV
I woke up to the most annoying sound ever created...my alarm clock. I rolled over to look at the time, it was 8. I shot out if bed, I completely forgot what was happening tonight. I was moving to Australia. Wow, how the actual hell could I forget about something like that? I was to tired probably. I walked over to my desk and grabbed another box. I put the last of my belongings in there. Just like some pictures and books. Everything else was probably somewhere flying over the Atlantic on its way to Australia. I finished packing my clothes in the 3 suitcases I had. Last night I started to pack my clothes and it was the most stressful thing ever. I had to decide what clothes a I wanted to bring over what clothes I would never wear. It may not sound that stressful, but if you're a teenage girl...

A little while later, after I finished packing. I went to the post office and shipped the last box to my new home. On my way back I stopped at my local coffee shop. It was my favorite place to go. I would order a coffee and write. Oh by the way, I'm a writer!
I walked in and I ordered my usual and sat down. I started to think about my past life. My horrible step father...ugh. Just the thought of him made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. He abused me. He killed my mother. My real dad died whilst serving. He was in the Marines and died when he tried to save his fellow mates when a grenade landed by them. He covered it with his body...he died upon explosion.
A noise tore me from my thoughts. It was a glass that had been shattered. I stared at it. I pictured the glass being myself. I was shattered...while everyone looked at me, not bothering to help...
