I Almost Lost You

Chapter 13

"What are yo-" I was cut off by Ashton pushing me up against the wall and crashing his lips against mine.

I was taken back at first because, well I was pinned against a wall with lips on mine. Anyone would be. But I eased up quickly and kissed back. Our lips were locked together, and was amazing. He unlocked and re-locked and I followed. He was an amazing kisser. I wanted it to go on longer but he pulled away. I missed his soft lips already.

"Wow" he breathed. I nodded in agreement. "I'm sorry...I had to, just I hope that didn't ruin anything we had?" He finished as a question.

I giggled in response, "of course not Ash, I really liked it." And pecked his lips again. He smiled and giggles too. He's cheeks got really red and I laughed. "C'mon, let's go." I said pulling his arm. He followed along and we went back to the beach. We had just made it in time before the sunset.

"Hey boys!" I yelled, they both turned around and waved. I saw that there was a whole with some drift wood in it.

"Did you try and make a fire?" I asked setting my camera down on the blanket.

"Well we set it up for when you guys came back." Calum said. I responded with a "cool" and sat down. The sky looked amazing, it was the only sunset I've ever seen. So I wanted to capture this moment. I grabbed my camera and walked to the wet sand. I snapped a beautiful picture of the sky. I heard the boys voices getting louder, coming closer to me. I turned around and yelled "Smile!" They stopped and got into a position. I snapped a pic of them and they came running to me to see it.

"Can we all get in one?" I asked. The boys agreed. I ran up to the spot and grabbed the cooler. I set the timer on the camera and placed it on the cooler facing us. The sunset and water was our background. I ran down to the boys and we stood in an orderly fashion. The camera snapped the picture and I set it again to take another. This time we made funny faces and poses.

"You guys are the best." I said as we looked through the pictures. We all laughed and made our way back to the spot.

"Should I start that fire?" Calum asked.

"Sure! Here are the matches." Ashton said handing him the small box of them. Within a few minutes, the flames were up and we all snuggled on the blanket. I was between Ashton and Calum, Luke was next to Calum. I had a fun day today.

I looked over at Ashton and he looked so happy. I smiled and I started blushing at the thought of what events just occurred. I wanted that moment to last forever. I wanted him...not sexually, but I just wanted him...ya feel? I poked him in the side and he looked at me with a smile. I kissed his bicep and snuggeled closer. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer. I felt really safe in his arms, and I liked it. Remember when I said that I needed someone to help me? Well if you don't, lemme refresh your memory

Flashback*

I pictured the glass being myself. I was shattered...while everyone looked at me, not bothering to help...

I stared at the glass, it was shattered into about 20 pieces. It took about a good 5 minutes until someone came running over to help the mess.

'I need someone to help me...' I thought to myself.

Flashback over*

So yea, I really hope it's him. I would love to have him help me, he seems like the type that knows how to correctly help. Not like one of those people who only say "just stop being depressed" or "you'll get through it easily." They don't know shit.

That reminded me that I had to tell Ashton...but when? I know I told him that I said tonight, but I don't think we'll be alone tonight.
