I Almost Lost You

Chapter 11

How much you wanna bet that the next one will be too?

After we ate, the boys wanted to go down to the beach. But I didn't have a bathing suit so I don't how this is gonna work.

"Uh boys?" I said piping in to their conversation.

"Yea...we know. So that's why we bought you one!" Calum exclaimed.

"What? Haha how? Wait." I asked confused.

"Well we planned to go to the beach before we came here, so CALUM took the liberty of bringing you a bathing suit." Ashton said

"Aww thanks Calum! Wait how do you know my size?" I looked at him.

"Well, I don't but...I just asked the lady at the store what size would fit a beautiful, skinny, around 5'6 tall girl. And she said it should be a small or medium. So I guessed and got a medium because, well if I must say, you have a very nice ass." Calum said laughing.

Ashton started giggling, which made Luke and I start laughing.

We left for the beach about 15 minutes ago. Ashton is driving, I'm in the passenger seat, and Luke is in the back seat with Calum. Calum had given me my bathing suit already. It was teal with yellow straps. And a push up, nice Cal...it was very nice. I was really excited to go to the beach, and I haven't been to a beach in probably two years. I barely know how to swim too! That's a story for another day. So this should be interesting.

"We're here!" Ashton said excitedly.

There was a chorus of "yays" from us. He pulled up to a parking spot and we all got out. I made my way to the changing rooms. The boys just put their bathing suits over their boxers so I was left to change. After I finished changing I threw my clothes back on because I didn't want the boys to see my scars and bruises. I texted Ashton to meet me by the rooms so I could walk back to the spot. He came with in a few minutes and we were off to the spot. When we got there I put my stuff down and just relaxed. It was good to be at a beach. It felt nice.

"I haven't been to a beach in like two years." I sighed

"What?" Calum asked. The boys looked at me with disbelief.

"Yea...it's because..." I trailed off grabbing my phone that just buzzed.

From Ashton:
Don't

Fuck, does he know?

I'm confused...

I looked up at him with a confused and terrified face. He smiled weakly and nodded. Luke and Calum were still waiting for a reason, so I just said because I didn't live close to one. I'm getting really nervous because Ashton and I still have to talk and I don't understand why or how he knows...if he does. Calum had made his way down to the water, Luke following right behind. I feel like they are together...is that just me? They would be ridiculous adorable. Am I right ladies?

Me and Ashton just sat in awkward silence until he decided to break it.

"They don't need to know...not now. You can tell them after you tell me...obviously when your ready. I know you're hiding something. I'm not forcing it out of you but I'm here for you and I would love to help."

I just remained silent and bowed my head.

"I'll tell you..." I looked up. "Just not right now obviously...tonight if we're alone."

He looked over to me and got up. He walked over to me and kneeled down and looked me straight in the eyes.

"I don't want you to be forced." He said sternly

"I understand Ash...can I call you that?" I asked

"Of course!"

"Okay, so yea...I understand, I'm sorry..."

"I understand you...I went through shit too...we may have something in common. It's not the best thing but yea." He responded

"Thanks Ash." I said while I engulfed him into a hug.
