Alana's pov

I told Chris to not wear anything fancy because we are having a date night with the dogs "Charlie, are you ready to see your prince dodger?" I ask and she happily barks "are you ready to your boyfriend Chris?" Steve asks.

"Chris is not my boyfriend...yet." I tell him off "did you say I love you?" I look down "wow.. you haven't said it since Josh." Oh, my ex named josh he was abusive.

"Josh is not in my world anymore. Chris is and importantly, I love him. I love him more than josh." I say and my brothers facial expression went to shocked "Alana.." he starts "don't wanna hear it, Steve." I say and take Charlie's with me and grab my purse.

I pull up to Chris's apartment I knock three times and I hear dodger barking "hey." He says "hi. You ready?" I ask He nods and grabs dodger "Charlie. Look who's here." I say and she cuddles dodger. Chris is in my drivers seat "this is my car Chris!" I said

"You don't drive." He said "hey!" I say laughing and hit him in the arm. On the way to our park date, someone went in front of us in the middle of the damn road just like Bucky. It was...josh

"Alana get in the back." Chris said "chris, no." I said and he puts me in the back and then continues driving "chris!" I say and he he puts on the break. Josh punched the passenger window and went to Chris's side of the car. "Chris! Come here, now." He doesn't reply.

Josh grabs Chris and chokes him I got out of the car and punch him and he let's go of Chris "Alana.." He says "josh." I say and punch him some more "why are you with him?" He says trying to shoot me.

"Because I love him." I say and looks shocked and I hit him in the chest and pin him to the ground "Chris. Start up the car." I tell him and he does so. I get in the passenger seat and we drive "where to?" Chris asked "your place. He'll look for me at mines" I say

At Chris's

We get inside and lock the door and I call Steve he understood and I hung up the phone. "Alana. You okay? Who was he?" He asks me while taking off the dogs leashes.

"He's my abusive ex boyfriend. When we were 12, we dated until high school. We broke away from each other. He's the first person I said, 'I love you.' To that's why I was so hesitant to say it back to you, Chris. I thought if I said it back, I might've regretted it later on. But I don't." I explain and he grabs my hands.

"Do you love me?" He asked me "chris Robert Evans, I'm truly in love with you and i love you so damn much." I say and he hugs me and whispers, "Alana rose Rogers, I love you too so damn much." He holds me in his arms for a while. It started raining

We see dodger playing with Charlie and play a tug a war with a chew toy and we laugh at the dogs. Chris made us pasta and I got water for us.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" He asks "okay. Marvel?" Chris whines and I grab his arm "pwease Chris. I love you." I say being a kid "okay. I love you too but no captain America." And now I whine.

"Babe, your no fair." I say and he stops dead in his tracts "oh, shit." And I run outside to where the pool is before I jumped, he caught me and jumped in with me

"What did you call me?" He said and he puts his Armstrong around me in the water and I don't say anything and I look away. "Alana?" God, I hate my fake name.

"I called you babe. Is that so terrible?" He laughs "no, I love you babe." He says "what are we chris?" I ask "we are together now. You wanna be?" He asked "absolutely. I'm with you til the end of the line." I say mocking him and Bucky he gets a towel and wrap us in it.

"There is something I need to tell you. And I'm not proud of it please just listen to me. Okay?" I said "okay." He said and I changed into Chris's shirt and Pj pants.

"Alana what's going on?" Chris asked me "well, I know Steve told you about my parents but that's just a story to cover up the truth. When I was four and Steve was 5, my mom and dad were fighting. Steve being the big brother he is, decided to go downstairs to listen closely. My mom, Lizzy, hates my father because he hated us and my mom ever since she was pregnant. And mom said, that my father tried to kill me because she was pregnant again. He tried to do the same to Steve as well. It's true, that my brothers name is Steve peter Rogers. But my name is not Alana. My name is lizzy after my mom. I didn't want my past to haunt me. So, Steve changed my name to Alana. My mom died of killing herself and my dad died of cancer a year after mom died. Chris, I'm sorry that I didn't tell u before. It was just hard to live that life because it just was. My father was abusive as well. He hit before a lot more than Steve I did it protect him."

I say as a tear escapes my eye "awe. Alana it's alright. I am so sorry I wasn't there and that I didn't know you then your dad was wrong to think of you and your brother that way. I'm glad you protect him because you love him and I know you'll protect me. But, I'll do the same. I wish you were treated differently than you were treated. I love you a lot and I am going to film tomorrow and I want to introduce you as my girlfriend. Please, meet my friends?"

I think of it "okay. But I already know Tom." I say and he laughs "yes, you do." He says. "Wanna spend the night here?" He asked "sure. I'll text Stevie and let him know I'm not going to Be home and that I still have Charlie." He says okay and we get ready for bed after watching the movie.

I get under the blankets and Chris beside me. At the end of the bed, was dodger and Charlie cuddled together. "I love you." Chris says "love you too chris." I say and he kisses my head "Goodnight." He says and I smile "night babe." I say and I lay on his chest and he wraps his arms around me safely "keep me safe." I whisper "I will. Don't worry I got you." Chris says. Ever since my mom's death, I've been worrying about someone killing me in My sleep "okay.." i say and fall asleep in my boyfriends arms.
