47; Meeting up w rydel

Briar rose.

Today Rydel is setting me up with one of her brothers. The only brothers I've met was Riker and Ross. Riker is the oldest and Ross is the second youngest. I see Rydel as I approached stormie (her mom's house). And I hug her "how are you?" She asked "good. Let's go. He's waiting." She said "which brother? I only know Riker and Ross." I said "this one's name is Ryland." She said and I nod. We get into her car and drive to get some frozen yogurt where Ryland is meeting us. "Ryland!" She yells and he turns around and smiles "hey sis!" Ryland said to Rydel. They hugged and Rydel kissed her fiance, capron. Whom I've met. Ryland notices me. "Who's this?" He asked "this is briar rose Christensen. Rose, this is Ryland lynch. My baby brother." She said "hi Ryland." I said and he smiles at me "hi briar rose." He said "you can call me B or Rose." I said and he nods "you can call me RyRy or Ry." He said and I nod. We all get frozen yogurt. "How have you been, capron?" I ask as I hug him "good. You?" He asked "great. I missed you guys." I said and I sat with Ryland and Rydel sat with capron. I turn to Ryland to talk to him. "So, Rydel are setting us up, huh?" I ask "yep. She's done this so many times. They're nice girls, but I don't see them as a gf, y'know?" He asked "I've been on 12 set ups and the dudes are always creeps or jurks. I said as Ryland put his arm around my shoulder. "Damn, I'm sorry. You're so cute, you don't deserve creepy guys." He said "thanks Ry." I said and he hugs me from the side.

Rydel pov

I took a pic of Ryland and briar rose. I thought they would hit it off great.

"Little brother and best friend. Set them up today. Look how cute they are!! 💓💓 @BriarRose @Rylandlynch."

And briar Rose gets Ryland's instagram and posts a silly pic of them.

"@Rylandlynch. Text me. 😘"

He smiles and looks at briar rose and kisses her forehead. "Woah, Woah! No kissing my friend until your officially dating, Ryland!" I said and he smiles and he throws the garbage out and I pull briar rose to talk to her. "Oh my god. Ryland likes you." I said and she rolls her eyes "we just met. And we are just teasing each other." She said and I look at Ryland and can see that he's smiling at her and looked away so she didn't catch him. "He might date you after all." I said and she rolled her eyes again, we laugh and start to walk over to the guys. "You guys wanna go for a walk?" Capron asked "sure." We all said and we walk for a bit.

Ryland lynch pov

I really like briar rose. I'm gonna ask her out. Capron and Rydel are a head of me and briar rose so we hang back and I look at her. "Can I ask you something?" I ask and she smiles "sure." She said and we sit on the bench and I have a Lille and a rose in each hand and gave them to her. "What's up, Ry?" She asked "well. I know we just met, but I like you so it would be great if I can take you on a date. So will you go on a date with me?" I asked and she smiles and kisses me. And i said "a date it is." And we plan out our date.

Briar rose.

I look at the clock and it's 7 and I have to head home. Ever since the accident my parents worry. "Shoot. I have.to get home." I said and Ryland looks at me. "I'll drop you off." He said "no, it's fine. My car is at your mom's house." I said and he drives to his mom's. "See you Saturday?" I ask as he pulled into his mom's driveway "yup. At 8?" He asked "yep. Can't wait to see what you have planned." I said and he laughs and kisses me. "See you Saturday, Ryland." I said and he smiles. "See ya, Rose." He said and I got out of the car with the Starbucks and drive home. "Mom? Dad? Hayley?" I ask and no one's home and I see a note.

"Hayley is at aunt April and uncle Adams. Dad and I are talking to jasmine. Text you after. Love, mom."

I got a DM from Ryland. (He doesn't have my number).

I put my phone down and started making spaghetti. My mom calls me.

Mom💗- Dad and I are on our way home. We got Hayley too. We haven't ate yet. Have you?

Rose💗- no. I'm making dinner. Aka spaghetti.

Mom💗- sorry sweetheart.

Rose💗- I don't mind. How was Jasmine's arresting?

Mom💗- umm. We'll talk in private.

Rose💗- mom...

Mom💗- hey, it's ok. See you in a bit.

Rose💗- bye.

I sit down in the living room with my dinner as I'm watching the Bachelor. Mom, Hayley and dad come home and eat and dad talks to me. "Jasmine was drunk of the day of the accident. And she claimed you were on drugs. That's why Hannah crashed Into her. And they need you to talk in court." Dad said and I Burry my head into his chest. "Daddy I'm scared." I said and he holds me. "It's okay, baby. Daddy's got you." He said and I let tears fall and dad and mom hug me. Hayley walks towards me and hugs me. "Oh, sweetie." (She's 15 now and I'm 17). "I love you, briar rose." Hayley said "I love you too, Hayley." I said as he hugged me. I don't want to go to court.
