42: Catching up with Briar Rose

Briar rose

So today I am going to see my dad. Last I saw him, it was a week ago. I can't wait to meet his girlfriend! She is so beautiful. If she makes him happy, she'll be an amazing stepmom. I see my mom, Rachel. Coming towards me "c'mon, briar. We're leaving to see your dad." She said and I smile when she wasn't looking. I've been secretly seeing my dad behind my mom's back. She'd never forgive me.

Alana pov

Hayden is putting on his most formal outfit. "Hayden. Relax. You've seen your daughter so many times, love." I said and he finally relaxes. He's so intense. And I hear a honking of a car and I see Rachel pull up in the driveway. I see a beautiful teenager who i assume is briar rose. She looks like Hayden. He runs to the front door. He treats her like a little girl and she still calls him daddy. Which I don't mind. I don't want her meeting Hayley just yet. (She is sleeping).

Briar rose

I open my car door and I see my dad walk out of the house. "Briar Rose!" My dad yells "daddy!" I yell and he picks me up and spins me around "why are you so happy to see him, Rose?" Mom said as I don't let go of the hug nor does my dad. "Fuck off, Mom." I mumble and dad laughs. "Who's my girl?" He asked me "I'm okay. Can I meet Alana?" I ask and he nods as he waves Alana over and she walks my way. "Hi," she says quietly "hi," I said same tone as her "I'm briar rose Christensen." I introduce myself "hi. I'm Alana driver. It's nice to meet you." Alana says "same to you. Dad has told me so much bout you. Good things. Don't worry." I reassured her. "Thanks. Come inside. There's drinks and food. And you can meet Hayley." Alana said and we head into their house. "How old are you briar rose?" Alana asked me as she held out snacks for all of us. "I'm 15." I said and dad and my mom talk and try not to fight. "Alana. If you want to marry my dad, you can. I love my dad and I want him to be happy. And if you'll allow me, I'd love to be apart of your family." I said "aw, sweetie. You are more than welcome to be apart of this family." Alana said and she hugs me. "Briar rose, we are leaving!" My mom said "no! We just got here. I want to talk to Alana more, to see dad, and to meet my new little sister. I don't want to live with you anymore." I said and my mom for the first time in my life, was speechless. "Briar Rose.." i heard my mom said "dad, can you be my guardian?" I ask and he smiles "it's up to both Alana and I." My dad said and I look at Alana. "I'd love to have her here, Hayden. Rose, you can move in tomorrow." Alana said and I hug her "thank you." I said and she comforts me cause I'm about to cry. "Don't cry, sweetie. We have you." Alana said and dad escorts my mom out. "Briar." Dad says "daddy," I whispered. And my mom grabs my by my wrist "let me go!" I said and dad smacks my mom. "Don't touch my daughter. Ever again." Dad said and he throws her out again and locks the door.

10 mins later.

I go to the living room to see Alana and my new little sister, Hayley rose. "Hi Alana." I said to Alana and she looks up at me. "You don't have to call me that." Alana said "can I call you mom?" I ask her "if you want to, of course." She said and I hug her "can I hold Hayley?" I ask and she nods and puts Hayley in my arms. "She's a beauty." I said and my new mom smiles. And I heard a post notification go off.

And I take a pic with my new mom and Hayley.

"Daddy and @Alanadriver welcomed me into their new life with open arms. 💗💗💗 I love my little sister. Thanks for taking me in and making me on of your own, mom. I love you. 💗💗"

My dad kisses Alana, Hayley's head, and my head. Since I don't have clothes here, Alana went shopping earlier to get me some stuff and bought me pajamas. "Thanks, mom." I said and she smiles. "No problem sweetie." She says and I get changed and I get into bed after Alana put Hayley down. "You feeling comfortable enough, B?" Mom asked "yea. Thanks mom." I said "no problem. Your dad and I are glad you're here." Mom said "can I lay with you?" Mom asked and I scoot over "your dad snored. I'll lay here for a bit." Mom said "I love you, mom." I said "I love you too, sweetie." She said and kisses my head. I never expected to snap at my bio mom like that. It felt great!
