66: wedding announcement

Hayley pov

Ry and I woke up in his hospital bed and we decided to announce the engagement. Online. I post first.

Hayley;

"So WE'RE ENGAGED! oh my god. I'm marrying my baby, best friend, my other half and I'm so happy. I couldn't ask for anyone better to marry. I love you so much, RyRy. 🥺💍💗 @Rylandlynch."

Ryland;

"I'm marrying the girl of my dreams, guys! Like Holy shit. I proposed last night and I'm so glad she said yes. We both were crying of happiness. Babe, I love you so much. Can't wait to see what the future will hold. 💍👰🤵💗@Hayley 💗💗"

And the hospital let ry and I go. Since ry has serious conditions, he needs to go to physical therapy. I go with him. He looks at me in his wheelchair. I help him up and he walks on this walk thingy. His doctor said, "he has to do therapy twice a week." He said and I nod my head okay. Ryland barely has taken steps. "Babe. Look at me." I said "don't look down. Look at me and walk towards me." I said and he slowly walks and almost fell and I catch him "I can't do this. I can't." Ry said. "Ryland. You don't give up on stuff. I know you, babe. You always tell me to keep going. You have to do this twice a week for your hip, Ry. Your hip isn't going to get better if you don't do it." I said and he looks at me with tears in his eyes "I know it's hard right now, but it's going to get better. I know it will. I know your frustrated, but you can't just quit. I want you to be able to dance at our wedding, babe. I'm not giving up on you. So please don't give up on yourself." I said and he smiled "how do u know what to say?" Ryland said "I learned it from the biggest part of my life." I said and he smiles "April?" He asked "no. You." I said. I help him get back up and I stand at the end of the walk thing and Ryland holds onto the railings and walk towards me. He hugs me. "You did amazing. I'm proud of you." I said and he smiles into the hug. "Thank you for believing in me. I love you." He said "of course. I love you too." I said and I got him back into the wheelchair and we got back to his mom's house (that's where we are staying). Safely and we do more exercises for his hip as the doctor recommended. After we ate with the family, we clean up and head to bed.
