32: Why Nathan tried to kill her

I got up at 7 am this morning to make breakfast and we are still in Vancouver. Alana phone rang and I answered it (I have permission). And it's the detective.

Me - hello?

Detective - Hayden?

Me - yea. What's up.

Detective - Nathan told us why he wanted to kill Alana.

Me - go on.

Detective - Chris didn't tell him to, but Chris knew about it. The reason is that Alana and her mother had a strong bond, even tho Alana was adopted, they had the same personalities and they look a like.

Me - so...?

Detective - after her mother passed in the car crash, he wanted Alana dead. He was already abusive, but since she looked like Lizzy, he hated her more and more. Chris knew he was gonna shoot her and was going to warn Alana but he had the restraining order.

Me - what do we do?

Detective - Hayden. I know you won't like this, but you'll have to let him talk to her.

Me - shit. Alright. But it had to be supervised. Or else.

Detective - that's reasonable. You know we wouldn't let Alana near him unsupervised.

Me - I will tell Alana. Thank you, detective.

Detective- no problem. I'll call you guys when I find out more. Goodbye.

Me - goodbye.

I see Alana come in the kitchen and get some coffee. "Morning babe." She says "morning baby girl." I said and I tell her what the detective said. "I don't want to talk to him, Hayden. You know I don't. You don't want me to either." She said about to yell and everyone's not awake. "I know, I know. But it will be supervised. You're not going in there alone. I love you, Alana, I do. But we need this to be done and over with. I don't want to worry every time I leave the house." I said and she was about to leave "Hayden. I love you too, you know I do. But I don't want to go in there without you with me. I dont feel safe if it's just the cops, Chris and me. I want you in there." She says and she looks up at me. "Hold me." I say and she laughs "okay Ani." She says and we see kaylen "sorry. I overheard." She said "it's okay, come here." I said and I hug her. "Are you guys really going to Boston to talk to Chris?" Kaylen asked. "Maybe. We just feel uncomfortable." I said for Alana. And I have to run to the store to get some stuff for dinner and for the rest of the months.

As soon I got to the house and I see Alana's home town house is going up for sale. She loves this house. Maybe we can buy it when it's the right time. I walk in and see my girlfriend looking at the for sale sign. And I'm going to propose soon. I just want to do it near her favourite place and with her favourite people. I need to do this right, before I can propose, we need to deal with Chris. I see Alana posted.

I talk with Tove. He supports Alana and I and our decisions. He will go in the room with Alana. He treats her with respect and he loves her as a sister. And he will be going with her to Boston to talk to Chris. He's strong, protective, etc... I just want this nightmare to be over.
