Ryland's pov

the whole family and I just arrived in Colorado. Hayley fell asleep on the plane so Rocky carried her off the plane and I got the baggage. "we're home!!!" Rocky yelled waking Hayley. "way to go, Rock." I said and we all laugh and Hayley starts walking. "where you going?" I ask "to see my mom." she said "your real mom?" I ask and she nods. the house is not far away from our cabin. Hayley nervously knocks on the door "come in!" the woman's voice yells and Hayley and I walk in "Tess Blake?" Hayley asks and the woman turns around "who wants to know?" she asked and Hayley smiled "hi, I'm Hayley and this is my boyfriend, Ryland." Hayley said and I say "Hi." and she just smiles. "how do I know you?" Hayley's mom asks "well. you gave birth to a daughter, right?" Hayley asked "Yes." Tess said and Hayley said "well, you're my mom." she said and she gasps "aw, sweetie! I thought you would never come home." her mom says as she wraps Hayley in a hug "I'm home, mom. I am finally home." she said and she looks back at me "oh sorry. Ryland's family lived here when he and his siblings were little. they moved to L.A. when they were older." Hayley said "Ryland.." her mom said trying to see if I had a last name "lynch. Ryland lynch." I said and Hayley smiles "did you hear about that car accident in L.A., Hayley?" her mom asked "yes. believe it or not mom, I was in it." she said and her mom just looked at her and put her hand on her shoulder. "when Chris didn't tell me that was happening, I knew something happened badly. are you alright?" Tess asks Hayley. "I'm alright. I was in a coma for a bit but I woke up to see Ryland sitting beside my bed and his whole family was there. I had bruised ribs, broken wrist, coma, and a wrist injury." Hayley said and Tess looks at me "Thank you. for being an amazing boyfriend to my beautiful daughter. I hope you two last forever or get married even." Tess said "It was no problem at all, miss Blake. your daughter is the most important thing to me. she's the only woman I see myself having a future with." I said and Hayley looks over at me and walks my way and kisses me. "I love you." I said to her "I love you too, Ry." she said and we join Tess on the couch. "We should get back. we left without telling anyone." I said and she says to Tess "he's got a protective family. that's one of his best qualities." she said as I blush. "bye, Hayley! visit again. you as well, Ryland." she said I smile. we walk most of the way home and Hayley holds my hand.

I see some guys eyeing my girl. "Hey! quit looking at my girl!" I screamed and they roll their eyes "then she needs to stop looking fine." one guy said as he was starring at her ass. I go over there and beat him up. and the guy punches back. "RY!" I heard Hayley scream as she was so scared. the guy touches her and she knocked him out. "babe," she said rushing over to me. "you alright, baby girl?" I ask and she nods her head yes and puts Kleenex on my nose to stop from bleeding. I take the Kleenex and I kiss my baby. "what was that for?" she asks "for being worried for me and for scaring you." I said and she just holds me near. after 5 mins of sitting in the grass, we headed home and we see girls looking at me "fuck off, bitch. he's my boyfriend." she said and they all back off.

Hayley pov

we reached the cabin and told the family the whole story. they ask questions and stuff and I attend to Ryland's wounds. "babe. you were a dork fighting those guys." I said and he looks down, embarrassed and I smile and shake my head laughing, "but hey, your my dork. and my knight in shining armour. as always." I said and he smiles wide. "I am sorry you got beaten up though." I said and he just shrugs and we go to bed. we kiss, say I love you. and I get comfy on Ry and fall asleep.
