Part 58; 2 weeks later

Hayley pov

I worked hard on my physical therapy. Ryland has been helpful and there for me. I decided to do something for him. I facetimed mark, his father, to plan a appreciation party for him/ Stormie, his mom, her birthday is today so we planned that we everyone. Ryland walks in with a wheelchair "ready to get out of here?" he asked "yep. Where's the dogs?" (Vader, vanilla, Velour, valley, velvet.) "they're with my mother." he said and he helps me into the wheelchair and we go to the car. I decided to text Ryland's mom.

Hayley; happy birthday, momma lynch!! we love you.

momma lynch; I love you too, sweetie. thank you!! :)

Hayley; We're leaving the hospital now. I'm finally out of here!

momma lynch; I am so proud of you, sweetheart! see you soon.

I show Ryland the texts and he smiles "she loves you like a daughter, Hayley." he says and I smile "I love her like she's my mom. feels like she's my mom." I said looking out the window. he grabs my hand and I look over at him and he's smiling as he's looking at the road and I make a bday post for momma L.

"Happy birthday to the most AMAZING mama ever! I love you, Stormie! you're like my mom and you've welcomed me to the family even though you didn't know me that well. thanks for the smiles and laughs, mama. everyone and I love you so much!!!"

Rose calls my phone

Hayley; what?

Rose; she's not your mom, Hayley. she never was and she never will be. you have a mom!

Hayley; don't remind me.

Hayley hangs up

Ry knew I was upset so he did a stop by at Starbucks and we both get black coffee. after he dropped me off at his parent's, he took his mom to lunch. the guys and I get the party started and we decorate.

4 hours later

Ry's car pulls in and we see them walk up to the door and they walk in and we yelled "SURPRISE!" and Ry and Stormie was taken back. "who planned this?" Stormie asked and everyone pointed at me "They helped, mama." I said pointing at everyone. and she hugs me and she goes and joins the party "this party wasn't just for mom." I told Ry. "oh?" he asked "it was my way of saying thanks for being there through the car crash accident. I felt bad so I asked your dad if we can pull off a party for you and mom." I said and he hugs me and kisses my head. "this wasn't necessary." Ry said "I know. but I wanted to do something for you. I love you." I said and he wraps his arm around me and sits me on his bed "I did that stuff because I love you too. I didn't want you to go through this alone. I did it because I wanted to. not because I had to. you have such a big heart, Hayley. thank you for being mine and thanks for the party. I love you." he said and I look into his brown eyes as he stares into mine. "how did I get lucky to have you in my life?" I ask and he shrugs. "Love and fate maybe." he said and I kiss him "let's get to the party." I said and I drag him with me. I got mama a necklace that says "mama <3" and she loved it. "thank you, baby!" she said "no problem, mama." I said and after an hour of partying, Ry and I head to his house. I brought some clothes from my mom and dad's and put them in Ry's car before we left. Ry and I are getting ready for bed and I see a picture of me on his side of the bed. I hold it and look at it. "found the pic I have of you, baby?" he asked "yea. when did you take this?" I asked "when we first met, remember? no one was paying attention to you. so I asked, 'want a photoshoot?' and you said, 'yea, yea. take a pic of me, Ry!' and so I did. I printed it out and put it near my nightstand." he said and I look at him and said,

"te iubesc aşa de mult." (I love you so much). and he smiles. "ştiu. dormi puțin. Avem pratice." (I know. get some sleep we got practice.) I smile as he said "noapte bună dragostea mea." (goodnight, my love.)and I say, "goodnight. my dork." and we both fall asleep.
