68; Ryland's birthday

Hayley pov

Today is April 17th aka Ryland's birthday. It kinda sucks he can't play any of his favourite sports so I'm gonna throw him a birthday party at his mom's house. (It's a tradition). And the girls are gonna help me decorate. I am having the guys distract Ryland for a bit. I make ry his fav breakfast and I bring them to our room. "Wake up," I said shaking him gently. "Hi." He said "happy birthday, babe." I said and he smiles "thanks baby." He says and hugs me "open this." I said and he looks at me "babe we said no birthday presents." Ry said "you know I don't listen." I said and he laughs and smiles as it's a collage of him, his family, friends, and us. "I love it. Thank you." He said kissing me "I'm glad. So I have plans with Vanni, Courtney, and Rydel. But I got a surprise for you later on today." I said and he laughs "seriously babe? You do enough." He said "yep. But I like spoiling you." I said and he laughs and gets dressed and so do I. Ry comes up behind me and kisses me. "Hey baby." I said "hi baby girl." He said and I turn around and kiss him. "I gotta go Rydel's here. But I love you." I said "love you too." He said and I go in Rydel's car and I text Ryland.

And the girls and I make a Starbucks run and I make ry a bday post.

"Happy birthday to the most amazing husband ever. (Not my husband yet but whatever). 😂 I love you so much @Rylandlynch ❤️ you're my favourite person on this whole 🌍. I love u to the moon and back, babe. Can't wait to see what our future holds. Happy birthday, baby! 🎉😘💍💗"

And Ry comments;

"@hayley. Aw thanks babe. I'm in love with you. You're my whole 🌍. Thanks for the bday wishes today 😘💍💗"

After the Starbucks run we go to stormies to set up ry's bday party.

Ry's pov

My fiancé just left with Rydel, Courtney, and Vanni. She said there was a scavenger hunt. My brother's said it's around the house so far I found my dog tag necklace I gave her in a box with a note that said,

"I once called you a puppy, and then you gave me this dog tag necklace. I thought you were adorable. <3"

I smile and continue and go to our room. And found another note that says,

"Go to the place where we first met. I bet there is something waiting for you. =)"

The first place we met was a park before I knew she was Briar roses sister. And then there was another note,

"Yay you found it. Open it up, it's one thing that we could never have but wanted."

I open it up and it's a ring. I told her after a few mins we met that I wanted to be with her but I was seeing someone so I said

"wear this and count the days until we can be together."

And another note that say,

"after we met, we went somewhere that was wet."

And that reminded me, we went to the beach the second day we knew each other.

On the sand there was a note,

"we had fun in the sun but then our time was done."

What she meant was that we couldn't hang out anymore cuz briar rose found out that I was hanging out with someone and it was our last day alone together. And the gift was the gift I gave to her before we separated. It was a necklace with the sun.

"Before we said goodbye, you pulled me close, and we would miss if we didn't have our first kiss."

I stopped by her old house and on the force there was a photograph of markings we put on an old tree that was torn down.

It says, "Ryland + Hayley = ❤️"

"The lights were dim and you headed for home."

So I headed to my mom's house with my brother's. I walk in the door and everyone yells, "happy birthday!"

Hayley pov

We yelled "happy birthday." And Ryland smiles and he sees me from across the room and he hugs me. "Who planned this?" He asked me "me!" I said and he said, "you are an amazing person. I loved your scavenger hunt." And I smiled and kissed him "only the best for my baby." I mumbled and he put his arm over my shoulder "I love you." He said "I love you more." I said "not possible, baby girl." He said and we both go in the pool. He floats to me and I cup his face and kissed him "what was that for?" He asked "no reason." I said and he laughs and picks me up and puts me on his chest as he floats on his back and I hear his heart beat. "I like your heart beat." I said and he laughs "I like hearing that." And I laugh as I place a hand on his heart. "You make my heart happy, babe." He says "you make mine happy too." I said and he smiles like an idiot. "You're adorable." I said to him "ya?" He asked "ya." I said and we eat cake and stuff and we headed home. "Happy birthday babe." I said as I pick up Vader (our dog). And get into our room "thank you, again." He said and we get ready for bed. "You got therapy tomorrow, Ry." I said and he sighs and I wrap my arms around his chest and kiss his collar bone "you know you gotta, babe.  C'mon, come cuddle me." I said and he does so and he lays on me and the dog lays under his arm and we all fall asleep.
