12: coming home from the hospital

Chris's pov

It's the day that Adam, April, and Alana come home from the hospital. They are all okay now but the doctor said that Alana's memory isn't as good as it was before she fell. "Chris?" She asks trying to get up "sit down babe. I'm right here." I say sitting her down. And Adam woke up "sis, you okay? What's wrong?" He asked protective of her "I just need to get up. My head is spinning alot and I need t-" she faints and falls back on her pillow. "Babe? Babe!" I scream and Adam yells for someone. Doctors came rushing in "Mr driver, what's wrong?" The doctor asked "my sister. She fainted!" The doctor goes to Alana's side of the bed.

"She'll be okay. What did she say before fainting?" The doctor asked "she asked for me and she said that her head was spinning and that she needed to get up." I told him and Adam let tears fall. "So, she will be okay?" Adam asked and the doctor smiled "she will wake up in a few hours and she will feel sick and get her a bucket immediately." I nodded and the doctor left. "Adam. I know something's bothering you, what's wrong?" I ask and he looks at me like he's about to break down.

"April and Alana are my sister's. And I love them very much. But I didn't want them to get hurt. Me and April shouldn't have been on the road yesterday, we should've stayed home." He says "don't worry. April and Alana are okay. I know you love them and I know they love you. Alana might not have known she was adopted, but ever since she found out, all she ever did was talk about if she had siblings, she would hug them so hard and never let them go. The girls love you." I said and Adam bro hugs me. "Maybe one day, you'll be apart of the driver family." Adam says and I smile. And April woke up. "Hey guys. You okay, Adam?" She asks her big brother "ya. I'm okay. Alana fell back asleep. How you feeling, sis?" Adam asked "feeling fine. Worried bout Alana." April said and I hold Alana's hand as she sleeps "what if she forgets everything?" I ask and they don't answer "we don't know what could happen, Chris. Let's give her some time to sleep." Adam said and we all fall asleep for a bit.

Hours later Alana pov

I woke up to see my boyfriend, brother and sister asleep and I got up and tried to walk but I could and so I fell down and put my hands out so I wouldn't completely fall. "Ow." I said a little to loud and I woke up Adam "Alana." He said and he helped me get up. "You won't be able to use your legs for a long time, little sis." Adam said as he lifts me and puts me in my hospital bed. "We go home today." Adam said. "I love you, sis." Adam said "I love you bro." I said and we take a photo together.

"My big brother. Love you, Adam. ❤️ @Adamdriver :)"

And Chris posts

"Girlfriend and her brother. 💙 Love taking pics of her when she isn't looking cause she won't try so hard to be cute cause she's naturally cute! 💕 @Alanadriver @Adamdriver"

And I take a pic of him on his phone.

And Chris commented

"No problem. And I love you too 😚💗"

He lays on the hospital bed with me. "I'll always love you, no matter what happens." Chris says and I kiss him. "I love you." I said and he just smiles. 😊 And the doctors walk in with a wheelchair for me. (And crutches). And Adam carries me to the wheel chair. "Thanks." I said "sure." Adam said and the doctor came up to me. "It's most likely that won't be able to walk again. Because of what happened, your legs are permanently damaged. I'm so sorry, miss driver." The doctor said. Chris looks at me and I try not to cry cuz I'm gonna be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Adam and April stays at Chris's and I's house for the night. Dodger and Charlie jump on the couch and dodger lays his head on my lap. "I love you, buddy." I said to dodger as he licks my hand. April's petting Charlie and I take a pic of the two of us with the dogs.
