April's pov

I am visiting Hayley since she got out of the hospital yesterday. we just arrived at Ryland's house. "Hayley?" I ask as I walked in Chris is grabbing her and Ry's black coffee. he puts it in the fridge and we wake Hayley up. "aunt April?" she asks as she adjusts herself. "how you feeling, sweetie?" I ask and she smiles "I am fine." she said and she reads a note next to her and she reads it out loud. "Morning beautiful. went to work. left you some cake I made when you were asleep. I love you loads. see you after work. xoxoxo, Ryland." she said and I smile and a blush was creeping on her face. "you worried me half to death, young lady." I said and she looks at me. "I know. I am sorry, guys. I was just sad that I found out I was adopted and I hated it. I just didn't like the fact that I wasn't born into the family. I don't regret anything I did or said. you shouldn't either." she said and I knew she was right as always. "you're a smart young lady, Hayley. I just don't want your emotions clouding your judgement. you could've died that night!" I scream the last part. "you think I don't know that!? when I got hit I wished I had died! but I was content knowing that I had some people waiting for me to wake up. all my life, briar rose was the favourite. and still is. but as always, I continued my day like nothing was bothering me. everyone thought I was FINE. but I wasn't. I hated everything and everyone. until I met the lynch's, I never been so loved like briar rose was. I don't care for her or anything anymore. you didn't even visit me in the hospital. Why are you here now? why? do you not love her anymore? you just love her because she isn't me because I'm the 'bad kid' apparently. Why did I get stuck with celebs as my parents?" she said full with anger. "I know who your mom is." Chris said "and I told April but we swore not to tell you. now we are."

Hayley's pov

Chris sits in front of me and says, "your mom was a friend of mine. her name was Tess. she was beautiful, kind, smart, intelligent, and so much more. her boyfriend got her in trouble and she came to me and told me she was expecting and she couldn't keep it and raise it since she was with her boyfriend. she was 17 at the time she had just turned 20 at the day of the accident. she loved you, Hayley. she wanted to name you Vanessa. she wanted to be a mom. trust me, she did. I left you on your parents back porch and Alana heard you crying and she found you and she and Hayden became your parents. I swore to your biological mother that I'd keep in touch with her and tell her what's going on. I haven't done that lately. and by lately, I mean 4 years." he said and I sit there speechless. "I want my mom." I said "I'll call Alana." aunt April said "no, not her. my biological mother." I said and Chris hugs me "I'm sorry, kiddo." he said and I hug him back "it wasn't your fault. where does she live?" I ask "Denver Colorado." he said and he gave me the whole address. "this is my a dance studio there. Ry grew up dancing there." I said and they gave me all the information I needed "we love you." they said "I love you guys too." I said and they leave.

an hour later

Ry came home "hey babe!" he said happily. "can I ask you something?" I ask and he smiles "shoot." he said and I say, "how would you feel bout going on a trip back to Colorado with your family?" I ask and he hugs me "I'd love it! I'm going to tell them right now." he said and I think bout my mom, Tess. Chris gave me a photo of her. I look like her. but she had brown hair and mine is raven. "how come you wanna go?" RY asks "because I've only been to Colorado one Christmas and I want to go back. plus, that's where I was born." I said and he gave me a confused look "I thought you were born here, in L.A." he says "I thought so too. but I am adopted and my birth place is in Colorado." I said and he smiles "we're going home." he said and we pack our stuff and head to the airport since the whole family wanted to leave tonight. I am going to my real home!
