both jack and i have returned back to omaha from la about two weeks ago. with me having one month left of school, it's down to this month for me to do a lot. for one, studying for finals is pretty much an essential. though, packing to move to la with jack and johnson, saying goodbye to my family, and getting various things set up in la for when i move are some additional things i have to do.

someone else i have to prepare to say goodbye to, who will be difficult to, is sabrina. i have yet to tell her im leaving as well. my parents, when i told them, were extremely happy for me. being honest, it wasn't going to change much except for the fact that im not living in their home with dylan. you know, they're always away anyway.

while laying down on my bed and studying, i found myself to continue getting lost in my thoughts about moving to la. i know that this process was going to be an extremely stressful, yet rewarding.

suddenly, there was a light knock on my door. when it opened, dylan was revealed.

"hey, can i talk to you for a minute?" he asks, timidly walking into my bedroom.

i nod and sit up, "what's going on, dyl?"

he sits on the side of my bed with a frown, "uh, when are you moving out?"

"two days after the last day of school. why?" my eyebrows furrow at the odd facial expression and behaviour by my younger brother.

"you'll still talk to me a lot, right? like you're not going to suddenly forget about me and leave me alone here, right? what happens when im home alone because mom and dad are out for business?" he rambles, causing me to chuckle a little.

"yes dylan, im going to abandon you and never talk to you again. you won't hear from me for years. of course im not going to abandon you, idiot. if you even want to come visit, you can always come see jack and i if you're annoyed by mom and dad" i reassure him with a smile once my sarcastic sister side had made an appearance.

he rolls his eyes, "i didn't need the sarcasm. but im serious, nessa. when brandon moved out, he really only kept in serious contact with you since you guys are the closer siblings. what about me?"

shaking my head, i send him a reassuring smile, "im not going to forgive or abandon you. and brandon will come by and see you, especially since he likes seeing mom and dad. you'll be okay and i promise, i won't stop talking to you."

he nods, "okay, thanks for talking with me, nessa. sorry for bothering you."

"you're never bothering me, don't worry."
