POV the courier
This whole place feels like it's from another world, even compared to what I've seen, but walking around these ruins reminds me of home, picking my way through a destroyed house, maybe less depressing, I looked back at Messa who was taking in everything, she was amazed by it. I flex my hand looking down, she'd bandaged it and even used some of the moon elf magic, it was far better than normal but still hurt.
Lujanne the moon mage has given us all rooms, Ez and Callum, Messa and Rayla, Ellis and Ave, me and the wanderer, 'Us wastelands have to stick together,' she'd declared, she wasn't wrong, here We're two of a kind.
I found Ezran and Callum with Bait, Zym, Ellis and Ava gathered around a fire, clearly, they weren't ready for bed, “I'm gonna find Rayla,” Messa whispered as I plopped myself down between Ava and Callum catching the end of Callum's story. "And it's said that they were never heard from again!" Callum said putting his hands up and wiggling his fingers.
"Really?" Ezran asked a light terror on his face as he gripped a hold of Bait.
"What's happening here?" I asked.
"We're telling each other stories," Callum answered.
"I've got a story or two if you'll have me," I said.
"Sure thing, but it's Ezran's turn first," Callum added.
POV 3rd person
Swords clashed as Rayla took another swipe at the lone wanderer, who elegantly blocked with her electrified sword, the wanderer ducked down and threw Rayla over her disorating the elf briefly. Rayla recovered in time to block and curved her sword ripping the blade from the lone wanderer's grasp.
"you win this time," the lone wanderer said walking over to a bench and sitting, catching her breath.
"Soooooo," Rayla started. "Where did you learn to use that sword? You're very good," Rayla asked.
"Self-taught mostly got it out of a fancy pre-war cash, but been using it awhile now," The Lone wanderer said. "Now if I can ask you something, have you told them?"
Rayla felt her heart skin. "What do ya mean?" she asked.
The wanderer looked around, making sure they were alone. "about their father," her tone turned to stone.
"I don't... I don't think I can." Rayla tensed up.
For a moment the wanderer thought of what she had to tell Six, about Lucy. "Six tell you much about me?"
Rayla shook her head. "He's said you were a friend, but not much about you," she said.
"I lost my dad, I wasn't as young as them," the Wanderer said. "I know that pain,"
"so do I," Rayla muttered. " but how do you break that news to someone?" She asked.
"you just have to tell them," The Wanderer said. "I was 19 when it happened, he left the vault, and after months of searching, I found him, and....a day later, he was dead, the people behind it paid, and they'll keep paying,"
Rayla remained quiet.
POV the courier
Ezran told this story of an old man and a dragon, it was interesting-ish, he's got a flair for the dramatic. "Six," Callum said. "it's your turn,"
"So some quick back story," I started. "I've spent a long travelling the desert, the day I met this man, he was in this old black suit of power armour, he was a storyteller, even had his own eye-bot, we were like a mirror, him there in his power armour, me in leather armour, and ED-E, we traded stories around a campfire much like this," I stopped for a moment thinking on that stranger.
