"There is no miracle healer, I'm sorry," Ezran said, I believed him, Miracle healers don't just exist and I expected 6 would know that.
"Stop being all mysterious, if you're going to make a claim you owe everyone an explanation," Callum said.
"Okay, Ava told me..." Ezran started only to be interrupted by his brother.
"Ugh here we go," Callum said.
"Now hang on kid, I want to him it from him," I said, hopping out of my power armour. "What do you mean Kid? How do you know that?"
"well...I can understand animals," Ezran answered.
I nodded, I actually believed him, it didn't feel like a lie. "See what about that...." I interrupted Callum.
"Hush, I'm thinking," I said to him before turning back to his brother. "I believe you, but....but if this egg is that important, and we have no other chance...We have to keep going if for nothing else but hope,"
"come on," 6 said. "we've come this far,"
"Why would he lie?" Rayla whispered to Callum.
"Because he's a kid 'cause it's fun. Because he's afraid to go up the mountains" I turned to Callum ready to take his head off but I didn't have to.
"I'm not afraid," Ezran said.
"Come on Ez. Tell the truth. The first time he did this I asked him to prove it. So ezran said a group of racons told him they were a treasure behind a waterfall but when I went through the waterfall. Did I find a treasure?" Callum asked.
"No" Ezran muttered.
"But did my underwear get soaked?"
"Yes"
"Case closed"
"The raccoons were being mischievous. I have since learnt you cannot trust reckons" Ezran explains.
"This is ridiculous. See this is why you can't make friends" Callum yelled.
Something Snapped and I grabbed Callum's Jacket. "Enough!" I yelled chucking him into the ground.
6 grabbed me and slammed me into a tree. "You do not touch them! Got it!" he yelled at me. I pushed him back hard.
"Then he doesn't talk to that kid like that!" I yelled back.
6 pushed me again. "Callum is also a kid!" he yelled back, I pushed past him and got back into my armour.
"Look unless someone else has any idea then we're gonna keep going up," 6 said, taking his revolver in hand.
as we walked we all heard something, some unearthly howling echoing through the mountain."Did anyone else hear that?" Ellis asked.
"yep ignoring it keep moving," Rayla said, just before it sounded again.
"Maybe we should find out what it is?" Ezran suggested.
"Okay, I'm going to share an old elven proverb with you, When travelling up a mountain try and save a dying dragon egg and hear a spooky sound just keep walking" and Rayla kept moving, I looked at Messa who was standing next to 6.
"She's right, I never thought we would have any use to it," Messa said still working.
"Nothing ventured nothing gained," I said loudly.
"Huh?" Rayla asked looking back at me.
"an old human proverb," I answered.
"What if someone needs help?" Ezran said this got my attention, As did with Rayla
