Chapter - Fifteen - I Trust Him...
Bethany's POV...
As I walked towards my bedroom I remembered why I had the flashback and decided to sleep downstairs on the couch and not in Jack's room.
I grabbed a comforter and a blanket and pillows to sleep on the floor since I knew the couch would be too small for me to sleep on, so I decided to sleep on the floor of the living room.
I walk down the steps quietly and prepare my 'Bed' putting the comforter on the floor first before placing the pillows on the shorter edge and laying down with the blanket on me, and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light and entered nightmare land. Like every night since the day I started sleeping with my wolf.
Nightmare...
"Oh, I'm going to enjoy doing everything I did to you to your handsome boy toy over here." I hear the triumph in my ex-best friend's laugh and look up to see Jack laying on the metal bed I once laid in, right in front of me. As if he was some kind of object in a museum.
His arms were strapped to the bed with silver cuffs and his legs tied with a tape dabbed in GosternFlower water from the smell that was coming from it. A flower deadly to vampires and can kill them with large enough doses.
"Jack?" I call out weakly and he turns to look at me with hateful eyes, his gaze burning with loathing towards me and I flinch back from the intensity.
"This is all your fault." He grits out and growls loudly, "If you weren't my mate I would have been with another she-wolf and living happily."
I flinch back and his words hit me hard, right in the place where it hurts. I shake my head and at him and ignore his words, "You don't mean that, Jack. You don't! What did he do to you to tell me this?!" I look at Him with enough hate that my eyes could have sent him six feet under if it was possible.
"What did you do to him? This is between you and me! Keep him out of this!" I scream at him and he smirks deviously and walks towards a table that I haven't noticed that had syringes with liquids in them. Every liquid was a different color and each repeated color had to have different patterns and swirls in it.
I look at the one filled Gostern with fear. If he picks that, Jack would be dead in a second, if not a moment.
It was enough of a dose to kill a Vamp and more. It was enough to kill six fully grown werewolves and right now, I can't risk losing Jack.
"Don't go near him with that." I grit out as I see him pick the syringe filled with the liquid I was fearing.
"What is it, little Beth? Don't you want your mate to feel the same thing you felt when I used this on you? Oh, the blissful screams that day." He grins in sick enjoyment as he watches me try to get out of the hybrid proof chains.
he walks towards Jack tauntingly slow, his strides taking longer than usual and his sick grin never left his face for a single second.
He reached Jack and raises the syringe towards me as if he was saying 'Cheers' and stabs the needle into Jack's arm, he laughs as Jack starts screaming and tears start flowing through his eyes.
"Jack!" I scream, "Jack! Please no, no, please! Stay with me! I'm so sorry! I should have left you when I had the chance! I'm so sorry!"
His screams slowly start going weaker and his struggles fade to a minimal and soon his face was pale and his mouth wide open forever silently screaming for help, his beautiful electric blue eyes were wide and lifeless. His body laid limp, no rise and fall in his chest to show he was breathing, his heart kept beating slightly for a few more seconds before going flat.
