Chapter - One - The Princess
Third Person's POV...
The little princess slept peacefully, a small smile curving at her rosh pink lips that were right under an adorable button nose, her electric blue eyes hidden by her cream lids, her serene features framed by her beautiful red hair, pooling around her in crazy waves and knots.
The mother looked down at her little miracle, wondering how she could be so lucky as to have survived through the birth that so many strong women died from, her little angel had saved her, and to this day, she was grateful to her Goddess to have allowed her to see her little princess as she grew up.
She didn't want to disturb her angel's sleep, but she had promised her that she would wake her extra early so she can prepare properly for her first day, her little girl was so excited to start school, she had been pestering both her parents ever since she heard the concept of school, and the poor parents couldn't refuse their princess a request, no matter what it was, as long as it didn't affect her in any way, it was hers.
The mother sighed as she realized she had a few more minutes before she had to wake up her precious petal, so she pushed a strand of the wild red mane of her daughter and placed a small kiss to her serene face, smiling warmly as the smile on her daughter's face widened slightly, her eyes moving wildly under her eyes, probably dreaming of flying unicorns and princess that were just as beautiful as her.
She looked up when she felt her mate's presence at the open doorway, looking on with a smile on his handsome face. He had a contented look on his face as he watched both his girls, his heart felt like bursting from the amount of happiness he was having, he would have never thought that he would be this happy a few years ago, he didn't even know he could be more happy than he was when his mate had been in his arms before she had broken the knews about the pregnancy to him. But here he was, happier than he could ever be as he watched the two most important people in his life sitting beside each other, his mate beside his daughter looking at him with her beautiful electric eyes that their daughter had inherited, sparkly brightly with how much happiness appeared in them and their daughter sleeping peacefully, putting all her trust in them to keep her safe as she slept peacefully.
These are my girls, he thought in awe, no matter how many years passed, he couldn't believe how absolutely lucky he was, he didn't even notice when Emily had walked over to him and wiped a stray tear from his cheek, looking at him with worry glinting in her eyes, her hand staying at his cheek as he leaned into her touch.
"Is everything okay?" She whispered under her breath as to not wake their daughter up from her peaceful sleep, he gave her a nod, covering her hand with his and placing a loving kiss on her palm, she looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, silently asking him and worrying over him as he pulled her to him by her waist.
"I'm fine, Em, just happy," He assures one of his girls, leaning down to place a kiss on her forehead lovingly.
She looked up at him, a smile now disguising the frown that had covered her face a few seconds ago, she always found that the kisses on her forehead were so much more intimate than any passionate kiss on the lips, she couldn't pin-point why exactly, it just seemed like it showed his love much better than any kiss on the lip could show.
The little girl stirred slightly, grumbling under her breath as she changes her sleeping position, her face hiding in her pillow, the only thing now showing was her red blazing wild mane as her body was covered with the pink floral comforter, John chuckled softly under his breath at his daughter's actions, she looked like she was preparing to fly with her hands stretched to their fullest lengths beside her shoulders and her legs closed together.
