He took his time observing us, his multicolored eyes speaking volumes as they widened and narrowed. He tilted his head as he looked me over, his long brown ponytail falling off his shoulder in the process.

"You," He started, "You are...different from the rest of them." The guards instantly aimed their guns at me and my eyes widened. "No, no, no, no! Not THAT type of different you idiots!" He hissed as they lowered their weapons. He turned back to me, walking over and roughly taking my chin in his hand."I mean she's more powerful. I can feel it."

"Let go of her!" Alex seethed, struggling against his restrains as they glowed brighter.

Dorian looked at him with a raised brow and scoffed, letting me go and standing up straight. His eyes glowed their respective pink and turquoise colors before he narrowed his eyes. "I should have known. Only Pyrokinetics have that sort of fiery attitude." He turned his back to Alex. "Even when they're faced with certain death." He looked down at Victor and his eyes narrowed again. "Inclinkinetic, I see." His eyes landed on Victor's stomach. "And badly wounded at that."

How the hell did he know everyone's powers? Was he a Demetikenetic like Ms. Duboise?

He walked back to the center of the room, not even referencing Evanora. "Quite the group you have here, Elizabeth." He mused. "Much better than the mediocre fools you had back when I was here."

Ms. Duboise scowled. "How did you find us, Dorian? I made sure to wipe your memories of this place."

"Of this place, yes, but you neglected to get rid of the memory of my fellow house goers." He made his way over to Ms. Duboise as he spoke. "I had a lot of time on my hand those fifteen years that I was alone. I was able to become someone, make a name for myself. I find it quite remarkable really. I became the EXACT type of person you were shielding us from." He winked at Ms. Duboise as he kneeled in front of her. "And I think I'm damn good at it too, if you ask me."

He quickly snatched Grace out of Ms. Duboise hands and shoved the girl towards another guard. "Take her to the base. We'll deal with her later. Plus I really hate young children" He stated. The man did as he was told, carrying a kicking and screaming Grace up the stairs.

"Grace!" Evanora exclaimed.

"BRING HER BACK! BRING HER BACK RIGHT NOW!" Alex yelled. He was practically growling, now.

"You're in no position to be making demands, boy." Dorian sneered. "Anyway, Elizabeth," He continued with a roll of his eyes, "I spent a lot of my time hunting down Elementalists, which takes a lot of secrecy on my part because do you know how hard it is to mingle with the Normals everyday?" He gagged. "They're disgusting. That's why I decided to change up the business. I knew that there were other Elementalists out there who wanted to get back at the Normals for their transgressions against us. So my company offers people, such as yourselves," He motioned towards us before speaking again, "a simple choice. You either work with us, where we feed you and clothe you and treat you as one of our own. Or, you can just turn down the offer,

and we'll kill you on the spot."

I felt Evanora stiffen up beside me and Victor's eyes widened.

"You see, what I'm doing is for you all." Dorian continued. "I want the same thing you all want, a normal life for all Elementalists. But in order for that to happen, we need to get rid of all opposition. And our main opposition is the Normals." He turned to us with a smirk. "So what do you say, kids?"

He turned towards us and crossed his arms, expectantly waiting for a response.

I turned to the group with wide worried eyes. "Surely we aren't actually considering this?" I whispered.
