*Donovan*

Heading to the kitchen I decided to make dinner for my mate. Taking down a few pans I slowly stopped what I was doing.

Sniffing the air I caught a scent leading off towards my room. Hurrying to my bed room door I could smell chloroform.

Opening the door I saw a man grinning at me before he jumped out my window. My mate was kidnapped and all I was doing was standing here like an idiot.

Running after him I soon caught up with him. He shifted into his wolf, running faster. Throwing a ball of fire next to him, he jumped and jerked in another direction.

Sending another fire ball hurtling towards his leg. He yelped in pain and crashed into a tree. Slowing down I marched my way towards him.

Grabbing the now naked man by his neck I pinned him against the tree. He just grinned and I wanted to punch him in the face repeatedly but I needed answers.

"Where is she?" I growled but he didn't say anything. He wasn't going to help me, nor was he going to give me information.

Grinning right back at him I started to burn him. He clawed at my hand but it didn't hurt. "Tell me where she is and I'll let you live." Releasing my grip he held his burnt throat.

"My Alpha has her."

"Who is your Alpha?" He grinned and straightened up. "He goes by Tré. I'm sure you've herd of him." All I felt was hatred and fear. With Tré having her in his possession there's no telling what he'll do.

"He wants you to meet him at midnight tomorrow at the park." Grabbing his throat I burned him until I saw the light leave his eyes. Dropping him on the ground I turned on my heel and walked back to the house. Tré has no idea who he's dealing with.

Taking away my mate crossed the lines and soon he will see what death is like.

Waking up with a huge migraine I slowly rolled over. I headed for the bathroom and searched the cabinet. Finding Tylenol I took two pills and placed them in my mouth.

Chewing them slowly I felt my face scrunch up from distaste. Turning on cold water I cupped my hands and started to drink from my hands.

Feeling slightly better I cleaned my face and headed back in the room and froze. Tré was sitting on the edge of the bed. My heart started to pound against my chest which seemed to get faster by the minute.

I took a step back to get a bigger distance between us. He only smiled. He stood up and started to walk towards me. My back hit the wall and I felt the tears roll down my cheeks.

No matter what it seems like I can never get away from him. If he hated me so much then why did he still show up in my life and act like my boyfriend.

Flinching away at his touch he frowned but didn't hit me surprisingly. "I'm not gonna hurt you." He whispered trying to get me to believe him.

"That's a lie. No matter what I do you would always beat me. You would beat me to nothing, once I almost died cause you beat to much! How can I trust that you wont harm me."

He took a step back while I waited for him to strike. "I was an ass hole okay? I know what I did was wrong but when I saw Donovan looking at you with so much love I knew you were his mate. I got jealous and abused you because you have a mate."

I stared at him confused. How does he know all of this. He's just a human. I shook my head and walked past him towards the bolted up window. "Lies" was all I could say.

What did he expect me to do? Forgive him and reject my mate for him? I couldn't and would never leave Donovan. He's mine and my one true chance of knowing what it feels like to be happy and loved.

"If you don't believe me I guess I'll have to show you." Rolling my eyes I turned to put up with his beatings but what I saw shocked me to no end.

Tré was now on all fours growling at me. He was a freaking wolf! A werewolf to be exact. He was my height and he moved closer.

Breathing fast I wasn't sure I could survive this beating. He snapped at me and I squinted my eyes shut in fear. I felt his fur tickle my neck and then I felt the pain.

He bit into my shoulder and I screamed from the top of my lungs. Blood dripped down from my shoulder. He let go and backed away with my blood on his fur.

I held my shoulder but quickly flinched. Blood covered my palm and I tore my shirt off and placed it over my wound.

I'm going to bleed out and die. I thought over and over in my head. Looking up I saw Tré in his human form naked. Tears ran down my face uncontrollably, making my vision blurry. Slowly laying on the ground out of breath I felt cold.

I've already lost so much blood. Tré bent down and moved my shirt to see his work. "Soon you will be mine even if I have to lock you up."

Placing my shirt over my wound he stood up and got dressed before a woman came rushing in. She stared at me with wide eyes and moved my shirt.

"Tré how could you do this? Your not supposed to force the bite on your second chance mate!" I was beyond confused. Tré most likely fed his pack lies about me.

"Make sure she's okay. She needed to be turned anyways." Turned? I didn't want to be this.

The young girl started to lift me up and I felt dizzy. I found it hard to walk as the dizzyness came hard. She ushered me to take one more step but I couldn't.

She pressed her hand on my back and pushed me forward. Taking that step was a mistake. I felt my eyes roll to the back of my mind before I collapsed on the ground. Giving out my last breath.
