Chapter Ten (Unedited)

The past few days have honestly been really nice compared to last week. Shota took you out for dinner, danced with you, and gave you a really sweet gift the other night as an apology for his accusations. It was really sweet of him, so much so that thinking about it still made you gush.

Of course, the events from last week still managed to catch up with you, and you desperately needed a favor from Hizashi. Just to ensure that your relationship with Shota wouldn't become any more unstable.

With the phone call from Goshadokuro, you needed to meet with Toshiro in order to further discuss what happened and what might happen. The situation required more information, which is what he had, so you asked him out for some coffee Saturday after school.

"(Y/n)!"

"I'm right here you don't have to yell."

"You'll never guess what I found out the other day!"

"Seriously quiet down."

"SHOTA WANTS TO PROPOSE TO YOU!"

You dropped the paperwork you were working on, "He wants to get married? To me?"

"Well of course! Apparently he's been thinking about it for over a month now."

You hugged Hizashi, "I cant believe it!"

"I know right!"

The two of you laughed you were unable to breath. After a few moment, the initial giddiness faded and you realized something.

"Wait... Was that supposed to be a secret?"

"Shit."

You smacked him, "You dumb ass!"

"Ow! Why are you so violent."

"You did just ruin Shota's proposal."

"Okay, okay my bad. But now that you know, is there anything you want me to slip in to him?"

Ever since your first date with Shota, you learned that by telling Hizashi something, it would eventually make it's way to him. So, if you ever wanted Shota to do something but were too shy to ask, you would just tell Hizashi and it would happen.

"No. I want him to propose to me in his own special way without me having a say."

"Aw, I kinda want to see what he does."

"No."

"But (Y/n)-"

"Not after spoiling the surprise."

"Alright fine," he pouted. "Oh, what did you want to see me for?"

"I need a favor."

"Depends, what kind of favor?"

"This Saturday, I need you take Shota out somewhere for dinner or drinking or whatever. I just need you to distract him for the evening."

He pursed his lips, "Why?"

"I need to meet with Toshiro outside of the meetings with Nezu in order to tell him everything that happened over the weekend."

"With Goshadokuro?"

"Yes."

He frowned, "I don't know..."

"Please? I really need you to do this. I don't want Shota to get the wrong idea again, and I promise I won't have anymore contact with him or the agency unless Nezu is present."

"Is it that important."

You gave him puppy eyes, "Yes."

"You know I can't say no when you make that face."
