(I swear on everything this is the last part of pool?)

I close the bathroom door and stand in the hallway in shock.

"Laylani!" I hear him say my name and just the sound of his voice make me cringe. The nearest exist was outside so outside I went, I needed some 'air' anyway. He continues to shout my name like I'm not 3 feet away,it was driving me crazy, but I just ignored him until he came to me to 'explain'. He looks frantically both ways like I ran away or something.
"Oh my god I really messed up this time" he says running his hand through his hair acting like he cares SHAKE MY HEAD. He looks down and sees me
"Layli just let me expl-"
I hold my hand up to his face
"Juwany before you even start your whole 'oh I'm so sorry' or the famous one 'I didn't know you would care' just to let you know I'm completely done with your bull crap. It's like you have nothing other to do than make my sister and I mad. At a point during this school year I really believed you cared and now it's all gone, you know actually breaking down the truth to you today made me feel really bad inside but now I'm glad..."

"Layli it's not like that-"

I start laughing at his stupidity I can't believe he really thinks that I'd fall for this again "ok Juwany what do you want me to do, get all mad, I don't know maybe cry?" I start getting louder "Well too bad because I'm not an actor like you, I care about people's feelings, I HAVE EMOTIONS" at this point I'm screaming at him "I LIKE SEEING PEOPLE GET OVER THINGS THAT SHOULDN'T BE IN THEIR WAY" but then I go back to quite "oh yeah I forgot...you wanted me to get loud, guess you won🤷🏽‍♀️and I guess I lose, we'll get home safely byeee" I give him one of the brightest smiles I could give. Since he didn't move I did, I got up and started to walk into the house but he grabbed me

"I don't know what 'game' your talking about but I don't wanna win and I don't want you to lose" I give him a cold stare

"Can you let go of me like for real your getting on my nerves"

"Do I even get to explain myself?"

"No because we both know what your doing so it's just a waste of air"

"I-I I'm sorry Laylani"

"You don't have to be just don't ever think that I'm some girl that will continuously fall into your trap, you should really know me better than that" his eyes got all watery and soft but I wasn't going to let his fake behind tears get to me. My gaze shifts over to Zion, I see him walking on the yard and making his way to the back gate
"Hey wait for me Zion" I look back at Juwany and say softly "um I'll see u later right?" His response wasn't even a word it was just broken up
"Yea" I jogged in Zions direction and left Juwany there, I felt bad but there's other things to think about right?
"You guys good back there?...I saw a lot going on"

"Yeah sort of, what part did you hear first?"

"When you were like "wHaT dO yOu WaNt mE tO dO, gEt AlL MaD? I push him on the arm and we both laugh
"Your aggravating you know that right" Zion continues to mock me as we walk into the back where the rest of our friends were. Zion and I sat down next to each other on the out side furniture.
"Why were you guys gone for so long?" Nicks face turned into protecc mode when he said it

"It's a long story"

Ayana turns her face up and says "Ewwwwy no one cares about your-"

"I'm not talking about that, what is wrong with you!"

"Well we have time so explain". Edwin says this like he doesn't know what really happened.

"NO you guys NEED to go home it's about to be 3 am...GOODBYE PARTYS OVER" I'm not screaming but I'm trying to annoy them

Jalen shrugs his shoulders "Or we can all crash here, then go to dunkin in the morning".

Alana's eyes go wide "I'm fat for dunkin sooo sounds like a plan...I'm staying I don't care what you say"

Austin gets up from his seat and says "I gotta bring this girl back home and I wanna sleep in my bed so I'll see you guys at dunkin just send me the details, goodnight guys!" Everyone else says goodnight and watches them walk away

"Ok Brandon stay or go?" I say this hoping he'll say go because I don't need more people crashing on my couch

"Yea I should go, I have to sneak back in through the window so bye"

"Wait Brandon your my ride wait for me" Laila joggs up to him and then turns back to wave bye. All that's left is Edwin, Zion, Alana, Ayana,  and Jalen.

"Sooo are the rest of you staying?"

"Wasn't planning on leaving plus its you my mom doesn't care" Edwin says walking into the house

"What he said" Ayana points at him and follows him into the house

"I made the plans so I'm staying" Jalen says as he yawns.

Alana locks eyeswith me and says "there is food so there is no question, I'm staying"

"Well my house is super far soooo I'm staying I guess" Zion day as he follows the others inside

"You know your a bad liar, I'm only letting you stay because your good friends with Edwin" I say this totally lying, and I make it obvious enough so he knows I'm joking

"Suuure because that's the only reason" he flashes me his adorable smile and we walk back into the house together.
