Chapter 1: Who Is He?

He tied my shoelaces, placed on his bib, glancing at his team mates as they prepared for our next match. They were playing the team who were top of the league. Their school was called Whitehall and the other team was called Forest. When they walked out onto the pitch Gary was finally captain. Each game was 60 minutes so each half is 30 minutes. Inside 20 minutes he scored a banner of a goal that went top bins. When it got to half time their  manager said that it is good to be 1-0 up but they need to score a 2nd goal to win the game. 15 minutes into the second half Gary scored again so his team went 2-0 up. As things stand Whitehall will go top by one point. Full time came up and everyone was on the pitch as Whitehall had won the league because it was the final day of the season. As Gary was captain he got to lift the trophy in the air. He had to think about next season because they were going to be playing other teams but bigger ones as well.

Year 6 came and Gary knew this was going to be a big year for him. First game came up and they had to play kenley who are in the league above them. He knew kenley were one of the best teams yet in the croydon 1st division. Gary was once again captain as he got picked as captain for the season ahead. The day after was Gary birthday on 22nd september (born 2007). Whitehall v kenley was 0-0 as it was a very boring game. The manager was happy because they were a really good team to be playing the first game of the season. Whitehall didn't think that they were going to win the league as all the teams are so much better than them. But Gary would go and score an 59th minute winner to win Whitehall the game. He went home and took a nice break and thought about their next game which is against Harris. The odd thing was that the game was on a Friday night at 5:00. In the team talk the manager said that Gary would become captain full time until the end of year 6. He walked out onto the pitch with his team. 15 minutes in Gary got a very bad injury, which ment he could be out for a very long time. Maybe even the rest of the season. He went to hospital and found out how long he was going to be out for. It was the rest of the season so hopefully he will recover asap.
