Guigsy had gone to town and took Eliza with him, which was fine but he could have at least told me first. Especially since he took my car too.
It had been three days of us holed up in scotland like some sort of fugitives.
I stroked the dog for a second and then went down stairs and
"AHHH! what the fuck woman?" I scream "at least fuckin' knock will yer?".

"I did, three times and ye didnt answer so I came in an' made meself a tea" she chuckles "ye face is summin' for tae scrap books though".

"Yeah very funny" I mutter and sit at the table "what yer doin' up here?".

"Well I came to see my niece. Is that a crime now?" My aunty Penny asks me.

"No I guess not" I reply.

"Do yous wanna tell me why you've kidnapped your dog, your daughter and Oasis' bassist?" She asks.

"What? I havent kidnapped them... well I mean I have but.... hang on how do yer know that?" I ask.

"It were on the news" she replies... I look at her like she has six heads. "Jess, he's the bassist of the biggest band in the world right now and she's the daughter of their singer, what the fuck did you expect to happen?".

"He's here by his own free will, Penny, he can leave at any time" I reply "I mean he has already. Only to town but its not like I have them on lock and fucking key".

"And the dog?".

"She's my fuckin' dog, I never even gave them permission to take her, but they did. Its a bit like how Noel sold the cats and got a girl pregnant behind my back really so we're even".

"So that's what this is all about then? Yae gonna hole up here until it magically dissapears? Grow the fuck up Jess" she replies "yae thirty year old for Christs sakes".

"Oh shut up, how long has it been since you seen me mam? 10, 20 years? Only reason yous moved up here was because you couldnt face her after what happened".

"Dont be silly, I moved up here to be closer to yae grandmother, she couldnt be up here alone" she scoffs.

"Nah the pair of yer's run off after the fact and you know it, so dont fuckin' lecture me about running off from my fuckin' life yeah" I reply.

"I'm not listening to this" she says and stands up "fucking deal with yae problems yeself then. Yous made ye bed, better fuckin' lie in it too". She storms off out the house, leaving me sitting there for a second alone, with the sound of the dog snoring and the clock ticking to break the silence. I let a tear run down my cheek like in one of those dramas as I drank my tea.

It was only when I heard the front door (which was unlocked) open, that I gathered myself together and wiped the tears away. I breathed in and composed myself, then spoke. "Oh Guigs, yer back. Thank fuck for that. I were gettin' bored". I walk out into the hallway and look at the person standing there. She looked awful, her hair was a mess and her makeup ran.
"What the fuck are you doin' here".

"I've come to apologise" she replies. "You were never supposed to find out but-" she is cut off by the need to breathe from her trying so hard not to cry "-but you did and... it's all a mess but I love you, so does Noel, so fucking much".

"How did you know I was here?" I ask.

"Noel knew you'd be here. Thats why theres no search party for you. Guigsy called us when you got here to tell us" she replies "he's out in the car".

"Who, guigsy?".

"No, Noel" she replies "Jess I need to tell you something and you aint gonna like it, lets go sit down yeah".
