So there I was some weeks later, handing over my daughter to my (kind of ex but not divorced) husband for the weekend. This was the first time I would be without her since she was born and I know he's her father and she's safe but i feel lost without her. Like a piece of me is missing.
"Do I have to go, mummy?" She asks me.

"Yes" I reply "me and yer daddy made a deal and I've gotta stick to it".

"To see a band?".

"Yes, to see a band, a good band".

"Couldnt you have just brought the tickets yourself?" She asks.

"You'll learn when you're older that things are much better when they're free" I reply and hold my hand out to her, come on. I had driven down to Noels new place in Maida Vale, West London to drop her off (he was on a quick tour break) and the concert was there so double whammy.
We had driven past Abbey Road and I told hera brief history of the beatles.

"Mummy, is it the beatles that you're going to see?" She asks as we walk up the path.

"No, I wish. But I cant because two of them are dead".

She gasps "how? What happened?".

"One was shot and one got cancer, can we please just get to the house?" I ask.
She sighs and we keep walking. Then I pick her up so she can ring the bell. Im sure Noel was waiting at the door like a sado (pronounced: Sad-oh) for us because it opened almost instantly.

He had this big smile on his face which im pretty sure was fake to a certain degree. "Hello Munchkin" he says "and Jessica, my lovely Not-Wife".

"Was that a blow?" I ask "bit early for those aint it? Give it at least half an hour".

"Whatever, yer comin' in for a tea or what?" He asks "I'm freezin' me bollocks off".
I roll my eyes and follow him into the house and into the kitchen. It was spacious with white countertops and an island in the middle with stools at, a sink  and space to chop vegtables or whatever, that's how big it is.
He puts the kettle on and stands with his arms crossed over, leaning on the island. I sit on the stool opposite, pick up eliza and put her on the second one. "So, how's life?" He asks me.

"Good, i guess" I mutter.

"Yer know Li and Patsy have a kid right?" He asks "apparently he has two kids actually".

"No I didnt".

"Yeah a boy aged eight months and a girl but he don't believe she's his. Who knows how illegitimate children he's got to be honest" he shrugs and puts my tea infront of me. He has made irlt as he spoke.

"Whats he called?".

"Lennon" Noel replies with a chuckle "typical that aint it?".

"Just about yeah" i giggle. "So what are you planning on doing with Liza then?". I sip my tea and wait for answer.

"Well, tonight i thought we could have some popcorn and watch some disney. Then tomorrow, whilst you and Vi recover from yer inevitable hangovers in the other spare room, we'll get up bright and early for breakfast at the waffle house. Then we'll hit the zoo and the shops. Then I'll take her to Abbey Road and make a song maybe" he says.

I smile to Eliza "doesnt that sound fun? I used to love the zoo as a child".

"Yes mummy, but,  there's one big problem" she says, twiddling her thumbs.

"Whats that sweetie?" I ask.

"You wont be there" she replies in a huff.

Before I can reply, the doorbell goes and I run off to get it.
