Chapter 14: A Paled Face, The Protective Father JYP

The next morning as expected I was called to go to JYP Pdnim's office but what I didn't expect is that all of us has been summoned to go to the office.

Among other members I was the one who is really scared since I was responsible for the internet commotion. Since I was guilty, I was the last one to enter the office.

"Girls, take your seats." Pdnim said with a cold and stern voice, we all gulped hard before we quickly sit down on the chairs in front of him. All our eyes were on him and no one from us were talking.

"I have heard of what happened last night..." he started "I know that the mishaps was already down but the internet is like a wild fire. It gets hotter as it covers wider range..." he stared at us with no expression at all especially when he adverted his gaze on me.

"Sana, I know it was only a misunderstanding between your post and your fans imagination so I hope you have already reflected." I gave him a nod as a response.

"From now on, I don't want to hear any issues of you dating or liking a fellow idol not until your dating ban is lifted, this applies to you all. No issues until October next year, except of course for Tzuyu and Chaeyoung yours will be lifted when you turn twenty. Behave girls, I already have cleaning your slate with just a picture of Mina and Bambam together." he told us reminding us all of Mina's issue with Bambam were the fans actually thought they were dating when a picture of them went viral online.

JYPEnt had trouble explaining to the public that there were no intimate relationship between the two but only a brother sister relationship. It was hard to take the issue down since they were in the same room, lying down on the same bed and using the same heart emoji filter in the picture.

The two had to make a public explanation about the picture and the truth behind their relationship that they are more like a sibling rather than dating.

"Sorry Pdnim..." we all bowed our heads together and asked forgiveness

"I'm just protecting my daughters, I don't want you to suffer from the public critism. I don't want Sana to suffer from ot just like how Mina was criticized by Got7's fans. Harsh words were out from the fans of BTS, since Jungkook was mentioned. Good thing you cleared their minds on time with your comment and editing the post Sana." JYP said calmly this time.

"Don't worry you will have the privilege to date but not now. I tell you if I found out that one of you is dating one member of BTS, since your names have been together for a while for both of your popularity, I swear I'm gonna go to Big Hit and scold Sihyuk for letting one his boys date one of you while you're on your dating ban. If ever your dating ban is already lifted and I happen to know one of you are dating one of their members. They'll have to pass through me first. I won't make the way to my daughters heart an easy way for them. Mark my words." Pdnim said on a serious tone

I saw two from our members turned pale and two other members plastered a indescribable emotion. But I didn't mind them maybe they just got afraid of Pdnim's words.

Then Nayeon unnie broke the serious atmosphere "So Pdnim can I date Jin sunbaenim when I turn 25? Or should I date Chanyeol sunbaenim instead? I know Jin sunbaenim is handsome but Chanyeol sunbaenim is much cooler. Ah it's hard to decide!" She said while laughing

"Nayeon!" JYP said with a shock expression

"Or maybe Kai sunbaenim but Jennie like him and I treasure our friendship more so his off limits. hahaha 😂😂" Nayeon unnie was making the mood lighter "Just joking Pdnim, you're too serious." she said as she takes back her words.

"I treat you as my daughters and I care for all of you so better follow my instructions for now. Specially Jihyo and the foreign line, you are the most dearest to me. For Jihyo trained for the longest time and the foreign line have their parents overseas. Don't be hard headed! Okay? Are we clear?" he asked us

"Yes Pdnim..." we all said in unison

Then he picked up the intercom next to him and spoke to the other line.

"Please bring them in..." he calmly said "Stay in your seat girls, I didn't really intend to do a scolding with you today. The staff will bring in foods any minute now and we'll have a breakfast here in my office as a reward for a high rate of sales on your album. The sales were really sky rocketing that it can be compared to some popular boy group album sales. Congratulations girls, you did a job well done!" he said as he clapped his hands.

We gave him our thanks and waited for the foods. While waiting everyone was busy talking with each other or other business.

Dahyun was busy with her phone and Tzuyu was starting blankly at the wall with Mina. Nayeon unnie was talking to Jungyeon unnie. Jihyo was talking to Pdnim. Chaeyoung and Momo unnie were busy playing games on Chaeyoung's phone. As I played with my the notes in my head as I hum quietly.

After a few minutes the foods was served in front of us. As usual we members happily ate the free food served to us except for Dhayun and Momo unnie which was unusual because they are the resident foodies of Twice. They always eat a lot and had always grab the opportunity of free food to eat a lot. But they seem to have no appetite today. I wonder what's wrong?

Oh well I guess that they are just tired or they just don't have the appetite, that happens at time.

We were eating when JYP Pdnim opened up the conversation. "So hows school Chaeyoung, Tzuyu? Your english classes Jihyo, Dahyun and Mina? Your japanese classes Jungyeon and Nayeon? I had to admit Sana and Momo had done a great job learning korean at a fast rate. I also want to praise Momo for learning English at the same time." Pdnim said.

"School is boring, and learning korean language is also boring..." said the savage maknae then continued eating that made Pdnim laughed

"We're actually doing good Pdnim don't listen to that maknae. One more year and we'll be done with high school." Chaeyoung said after she munched her food.

"Well well learning to speak english more fluently than before. Mina is actually getting the hang of it while me and Dhayun have still a small difficulty." Jihyo said truthfully after she gulped her food

"We're doing fine with japanese language, though there are difficulties at time but we'll eventually learn it Pdnim." Nayeon unnie said while getting some kimchi.

"Should we help you unnie?" Momo unnie asked Nayeon unnie while getting a hold of her favorite jokbal.

"Ah no need, I heard your helping Sana with english and doing some choreography, well be fine at the language center." Jungyeon unnie said while waving her hand at a no gesture while I stay silent with Dhayun since I was busy munching my food and Dhayun was playing with the tufu in her plate.

Pdnim gave us a nod "Okay continue your food girls. Eat some more..." as he motioned the food at the table.

JYP Pdnim had been a father to us ever since we debuted and even before... He made sure to always look for us even when we were still trainees. Maybe that's why Twice is deeply attached to Pdnim.

There in his office we ate like a big family forgetting the serious mood earlier and started laughing and chatting like normal families would do in front of a dinning table that was headed by Pdnim. What can I say we had a perfect father figure in the industry.
