Chapter 26: Trouble Of Being Caught

A few days after Knowing Brothers and a full squeezed schedule, MGA made its way to the curtain of idols. A lot of fans are excited to see their favorite idols perform at the stage. Onces are excited as much as other fans, but as far as I know ARMYs are more excited since their idols are going to perform with America's Pop Artist Charlie Puth. 

That made me haven't been in contact with Kookie this past few days since he had been practicing hard for their duet. He putted a lot of effort learning the english lyrics of the song 'We don't talk anymore' as well as practicing their group performance.

It was fine with me since we were also busy with our schedules. Once are sad that we would not attend Melon Music Awards in two days since we have to fly to Chile for our concert there. Melon Music contacted JYP just to let us attend because we were supposed to receive four awards but Pdnim made his decision to cancel Melon Music Awards appearance for the waiting fans in Chile.

But we are going to attend Asian Artist Awards that will be held next week since we will be back at Korea just in time, a day before the award ceremony will be held. The local fans were kinda disappointed when the news spread but they are happy on the same time that we were able to sold out 44,000 tickets for the concert.

When we  arrived at the venue a lot of people wearing masks, heavy coats and holding a candy bong greeted and cheered for us, they were as active and as hyper as ever despite the cold weather. We made our way to the red carpet with smiles in our faces and while waving at our fans. We went to the place where the reporters and photographers can take a photo of us. We made a few poses in front of them without forgetting our yes or yes hand sign.

Just as before we finish, we heard a lot of fans screaming so our attention went headed to the entrance of the venue. There stood the seven most successful idols that made kpop known globally, the role model of every kpop group, BTS. They made their way towards our direction while greeting their fans. While we on the other side wrapped the picture taking and give the photographers a bow, before we bow towards the boys direction. Before we left the platform, me and Kookie made an eye contact which I guess he wants to tell me something. But i didn't have time to understand it since Jihyo already dragged me off towards another entrance towards the main stage.

"Hey may I remind you that we are surrounded with cameras today so no more monkey business..." Jihyo told me while dragging me a little not enough to the publics' eyes to notice that she is actually dragging me.

"I know Jihyo...  I am trying my best not to be obvious at public." I whispered to her as we went to the side of the main stage towards the waiting rooms located at the backstage to get things in touch just before the ceremony starts.

"Hey unnies look our waiting room is just next to BTS sunbaenim..." Chaeyoung said while pointing to the signs above the aligned doors. "What do you expect they always do that." Junyeon unnie said before opening the door. We placed our personal belongings inside and head outside to the chairs assigned to us.  We saw BTS sitting on the chairs across our so we gave them a bow like how all younger idols respect their seniors before we take our seats. I made a contact with Kookie, I saw him mouthed something like 'meet later after our performance backstage' but due to the distance and Momo unnie continuously pulling me made it hard for me to understand what he said.

After a few minutes the ceremony started off with the national anthem followed by introducing the artists attending the ceremony. We were happily enjoying the performances if the other artists, we sing along with them and dance along with the music while sitting on our chairs.

Then seconds later they started to move out of their seats to the backstage probably to prepare for  their stage, we are set to perform after 8 idols who are performing after BTS. Charlie Puth appeared on stage for his performance, then Kookie appeared for their duet which I supported the most. When the group performed we got worried when Jimin sunbae's voice cracked a bit. The members even gave him a sign that everything's gonna be okay which I  think he didn't saw at all.

Before they finally ended their performance, I asked the members if I can go to the waiting room. "Can I go to the waiting room unnies? Leader? I feel like my upper undergarment is a bit loose and uncomfortable, I need to check it." I said worriedly for them to buy my excuse. "Is it a serious wardrobe malfunction just what happened to me recently?" Nayeon unnie said so I gave a nod to her. "Well go then before it's too late... You can't fix anything if we are close to performing already." Jihyo said

"Can I come with you unnie? I really need to go to the comfort room..." Dahyun said   " Ahm okay let's just meet after 10 minutes okay?" I said " Come back  quick..." Momo unnie reminded then we gave her a nod before heading to the backstage. After a few minutes we separate dways since I am going to the right direction and she went to the left. I had encountered V, Suga and RM sunbae in the hallway going to the direction where I came from.

I gave them a bow before passing by them, they just gave me a smile and a bow before they continue to head out of the backstage. I went directly in front of our waiting room as I looked around to see if there is someone on the hallway. when I saw none I waited for a bit second later Jungkook came out of their waiting room and made his way to my direction.

He gave me a faint smile while walking towards me and  I gave him my reassuring smile that everything is gonna be fine since I can sense that he is sure worried about his hyung. "Hey..." I greeted him "Eyy anae, I am a bit worried about hyung he went missing after our performance while blaming himself, the other hyungs are finding him while the others will head to our seats to cover up the missing members... I'm a bit sad." he said as he hold my hand like looking for support.

"Well the members were worried sick too... Nayeon unnie keeps whisphering that 'it's okay' through  the end of your performance. I hope he won't blame himself too much..." I said "Why do you want to meet with me anyway namphyeon?" I continued

He placed a jewelry in my other hand "It's an anklet, it can be hiden away from the public's eyes unlike the ring but still I want you to keep the ring that I gave you first. I also had mine, it should be your source of energy at Chile when we are far away from each other." he said as he held my other hand which was holding the anklet. "I'll really miss you so much, I haven't in touch with you for  a few days and you will go overseas tomorrow. Ugh! It is seriously killing me! Plus i just recently had my wisdom tooth taken out." he said with frustration evident in his face.

I closed the distance between us before giving him a peck in the lips for a split second and I immediately went back to the original place before letting out a small laugh because of his cute reaction. Before he could react we heard a metal clank sound on the floor like something had fall so our heads turned immediately to that way... We saw a woman looking so shock upon the sight of the two of us with a metal spoon on the floor down directly from where she was standing... 

Oh ohh this smells trouble...
