Chapter 33: The Gift and The Late-Night Treat (A Yoonhyo Special Chapter)

Me and the girls decided to part ways after our last practice here in Seoul before flying to Chile tomorrow morning. The maknae decided to stay longer in the practice studio to rehearse more so we let her. While I decided to grab some snacks with our manager while the others decided to go straight to the dorm to rest and freshen up.

I choose the store near JYP entertainment building which caters the needs of idols without worrying that they will be seen on public without any disguise on so, I don't to worry about stuff and besides all of their customers there are idols and trainees so I can go around without disguise. It is a 10 minutes' drive from JYP building and it is a 25 minutes' walk if you choose to stroll around. I went to our manager's car while the girls take the van as their ride.

After a few minutes of driving we arrived at the convenient store, our manager was generous enough to accompany me while I shop for snacks and for the things that I need to bring with me overseas. I pick up the items while he brings the cart with him. I was scanning through the items which the members would like to bring overseas like beauty care products when a phone suddenly rings. I look back to our manager only to find him out holding his phone.

"Jihyo – ssi, its Pdnim and seems like urgent. I will answer this for a while. Can you handle yourself alone? I will just be outside, I will return after the call immediately. I'm really sorry I have to leave you alone for now." He said while staring at the ringing phone.

"Answer it oppa... Don't worry about me, I will be fine besides the building is safe, so go ahead..." I told him with my usual smile before he made his way outside to answer the call. While I continued to scroll through my phone asking for the requests of the girls in the group chat.

After picking up what everyone needed in the skin care section, I went directly to the food section while pushing my half full cart because of the requests of everybody except Tzuyu whom I didn't get any reply yet, probably still busy practicing alone at almost 10 in the evening, our hard working maknae is just so cute... On my way to the section a guy had almost bumped with the cart in the corner isle...

"Omo! Are you alright?" I tried to ask the boy "Ah yeah... Sorry I wasn't looking... Jihyo – ssi? He said as he finally lifted up his head. "Suga sunbae?" I said upon recognizing the person. "I am really sorry for almost bumping into your cart... Wait is someone here to accompany you?" he asked as he pointed the cart that I was pushing.

"Ah yeah sunbae, our manager is with me but unfortunately he had to leave me for a while to answer an important call." I said before pulling the cart to the side so he could finally get out of the corner isle. He went near to my side and carefully looked from side to side if someone had noticed us already before he sneakily handed me an apricot colored small paper bag.

"I didn't have the chance to thank you yet after the incident so, I decided to give a you present instead. I only got you a small gift since I don't want to bother you. I hope you will like it..." he said while trying to hide the embarrassment in his face. I smiled at him and I gladly accepted his gift, I was about to open it when he stopped me.

"Wait... Can you open it in your dorm instead?" he asked me which made me a bit confuse but I just nod in response before putting the present inside my bag. "Oh okay... As you said sunbae...Thank you very much but I think you really should have not bother in giving me a gift, it was an act due to impulse... But if you don't mind what are you doing here by the way sunbae?" I ask him as I started pushing the cart again as I slowly walked through the food section while he was walking beside me.
