Chapter 4: She Was Cute

After our pre recording as MCs I had a small talk with Minjae hyung before going to our waiting room which as far as I remember is next to Twice's.

I was walking in the deserted hallway with my backpack on my right shoulder and eating my favorite chips in my hand, when I saw Sana noona walking ahead of me.

I wasn't really planning on sharing my favorite snack since I only brought 4 bags but I gave her one cause I find noona cute haha. Even the way she walks is just so cute.

Around the corner she almost tripped herself, I almost run into her but decided to hide myself when I saw her manage to pull herself up before she could fall. She even innocently look around to check if anyone saw her before she continued to walk. Clumsy as ever, I smiled to myself.

After a few steps she went in their waiting room as I get in next to theirs.

I was greeted by Jimin hyung the moment I went inside and closed the door behind me.

"Hey Jungguk! How was the pre recording as MC?" Jimin hyung tapped my back and grabbed my chips at the same time

"Yahh hyung that's mine!" I said as I watched him ate my snack, V hyung immediately get up from sitting on the couch and grabbed my snack from Jimin hyung and gave it back to me.

"RM hyung, I'll just talk to Minjae and I'll give him my present. Galgeyeo." V hyung said to RM hyung while holding our latest album Wings as he head out the door.

"Get back before the recording!" RM hyung reminded, "Ara!" he said as he closed the door.

RM hyung diverted his gaze on me while reading a book infront of a mirror since he was getting his hair done. "So how was it maknae?"

I shrugged my shoulders then continued chewing my food before I answered him. "Fine, I guess." and I made my way to sit on the couch were V hyung was sitting earlier as I put my bag beside me.

"How were the other MCs?" Jin hyung joined the conversation " I heard the director changed the arrangements impromptu?" Jhope hyung joined as well even though they were getting their make up done while Suga hyung was sleeping on the side with his bennie on his face. His bennie has a Zzzz caption. I mentally laughed at the sight.

"They were friendly, so we get along in just a few minutes infront of the camera..." I paused and gave a death glare to Jimin hyung who sat beside me while trying to grab a chips from my hands. "Yeah they did change the arrangements so I had to stand by Sana noona, but nonetheless it was fun, I felt comfortable with noona." I said nonchalantly.

Suga hyung suddenly interrupted us, "I heard the staffs earlier when I was on my way to the comfort room, they were both acting cute the moment they changed the arrangements." he said while still covering his face

"It was on the script hyung, we just acted it naturally. I wasn't hard since noona had a lot of aegyo in her and I just did my lines with same aegyo level as her." I said as I ate again.

Seconds later I saw Jimin hyung looking for something in my backpack.

"Yahh little kid! What are you doing?" I asked him. "I was trying to find extra bag if chips in here Jungkookie, I thought you brought four? Have you ate all the two others? You greedy brat!" he said as he was about to get the remaining chips.

"Put it back hyung please it's the last one. I only brought three with me." I lied and looked away.

"Little kid put it back in Kookie's bag I'll just buy you snacks later." RM hyung backed me up forcing Jimin hyung to return my chips in my bag. "That's a promise hyung huh?" he said as he run next to Jhope hyung to put on his eyeliner.

"Yahhh Kookie, I noticed you calling Sana-ssi noona? How did you two got close?" Jin hyung asked while putting on his contact lenses, since the Kim brothers wore highly prescribed glasses they always have to put contact lenses on performances or whenever the camera is rolling. Especially Jin hyung he said he feels insecure with glasses on so he just wears it off the scene.

"She said she was older than me." I lay myself in the couch and grabbed my phone to check on something while still eating my chips.

I immediately searched noona on the internet only to find out that she was born on December 29, 1996 a day before V hyung's birthday. Technically she's a few months older than me since I was born on September 1, 1997.

"So she was really older than me." I said to myself but I thought I did mumble it to myself when I didn't escaped Suga hyung's power hearing.

"What? You didn't searched her in the net didn't you?" he asked

"Ughhh..." I was caught off guard so I didn't  know what to say.

"Just let him, he's just barely checking right Kookie?" RM hyung said to save me. "Ahh yeah, I just checked it because it maybe an embarrassment if I call her noona but I'm actually older than her." I explained myself more like if a talking to myself manner than explaining.

"As you say so... Yahh Moonie, what about our new songs? The one that I've been doing the rhythm to, when are we gonna finalize and record it? I heard the production team that they'll give us the opportunity and credits if we will be producing it on our own. I'm really dying to have a comeback soon..." Suga hyung said

"Finally... But maybe later this year we'll have a comeback, there is still a lot to do, I mean we haven't even started writing for a title track... I was wondering is I could include the members' song in this album that we are about to make, it will be fun for sure. Yahh Jungguk do you have some songs in there might as well add them up." RM hyung faced me

I just stared at the ceiling before replying. "It's all draft yet hyung I just wrote some but never got to finish anything yet, I'm not yet confident with it." I said blankly

"Yahh you should let me hear it once so I could help you. You should be like Taehyungie, he's been working hard these days on how to compose and how to produce. He told me that he is working on melody and some lyrics, he even asked me to help him finalize it for him once his done with it... Just gain the confidence kid and let us help you. You just show it to Jhope and only let him listen to it." RM hyung said while glaring to Jhope hyung

"What! I didn't do anything ask the kid!" Jhope hyung defended himself

"Yeah whatever. I hope ARMYs will like our upcoming new song this year the title track has not been decided yet, but I was thinking you have to take the lead vocals Kookie with V and Jimin, Jin has to do the sub vocals on a very different level and Jhope you will rap this time and your hidden vocals are rocking so we'll add more of it... while me and Suga hyung with some the rap parts." he dreamily said

"They'll love it hyung I tell you... Anyways I just need a few inspiration to finish my songs hyung just like what you need each time you write just give me time." I said as I closed my eyes remembering the scenes earlier while looking directly at noona's cute smile it's really amazing to look at. As I smiled to myself too, I guess I'll finish those songs I'll keep that in mind.
