Bruno's POV
I left her room a little hurt. Did that kiss really mean nothing to her? I decide to go talk to Eric about it.
Me: "Hey bro I just went to talk to Monique about what happened and she just shut me down. She said that kiss didn't mean anything and to pretend it never happened. You think she meant it? You think it meant nothing?"
Eric: "Honestly bro, no. I don't think it meant nothing to her. She's not one of those girls. But that's her way of guarding herself. You have a girlfriend man. And she just went through all that with Marcus."
Me: "Yeah I know. But.... It just hurts. She's special man. Idk what it is about her but she.... She confuses me. I know I'm with Jess... But idk. It's something different with Monique."
Eric: "I know bro. We all see it when you guys are together. But you gotta really think about it bro. Use that brain of yours little brother. You don't want to mess up the friendship you guys have built do you?"
Me: "No....you're right Eric. Thanks man"
I leave Eric's room. Dammit... He's right. Why do I feel this way? "Get it together Bruno" I tell myself. But I can't stop thinking about her in that robe.
