I go to high school with a boy named Park Seonghwa. He talked to me randomly, and had been doing it a lot lately. I normally go up to the rooftop for lunch, so I slowly walked up the stairs. Putting my fingers around my wrist, I see they touch, but not enough. It was my fourth day not eating this week. I was distracted by counting calories and measuring myself I didn't even notice Seonghwa was right in front of me, that was until I ran into him.
"Y/N, what are you doing?" Seonghwa asks and pulls me off of him. "Oh sorry. I wasn't doing anything." I lie and walk past him. Seonghwa follows me. "Can I sit with you today?" He asks. "Sure." I call over my shoulder. The wind was nice and blowing warm air in my hair. Seonghwa follows me to the corner I usually sit in.
"Where's your lunch?" Seonghwa asks. "Oh, I uh, I already ate." I lie. Silently I curse at myself for stuttering. "That's a lie. Lunch started two minutes ago. Tell me the truth." Seonghwa tells me. "I don't eat lunch." I tell him the truth. I have no idea why I trusted him. "Why?" He questions me further. I act like I didn't hear him. "Y/N why?" Seonghwa gets sad.
"Because I don't deserve it." I whisper, tears filling my eyes. "Why don't you?" He asks. "I'll get fat." I say and lean on his shoulder. Seonghwa is quick to put his arm around me. "Your a twig, you won't get fat. I promise." Seonghwa half way jokes. I start to cry into his chest. "I'm sorry, you shouldn't have to see me like this." I say between sobs.
Seonghwa holds me tight and lets me cry. He kisses my head gently. "I love you, don't cry." He strokes my messy hair. "I'm sorry, I love you too." I whisper into his chest. "Look, as long as your with me i'll treat you good okay. I know what goes on at home. Your parents suck." Seonghwa cups my tear streaked face.
"I love you Seonghwa." I whisper after calming down. "Be my girlfriend?" Seonghwa asks. "Of course." I reply and kiss his cheek. Seonghwa stuffs meat into my mouth. "Now eat pretty girl." He smiles. "ugh, fine." I agree. We eat his bento together sitting on the rooftop. "Love you." I say and smile. "Love you too."
