The last two months of high school had flew by and graduation was exactly fourteen hours ago. To say I was elated was an understatement. I couldn't be more excited. In a few months I would be going to college with the love of my life. Johnny and I were more in love now than we had ever been with each other. These two months really did us great. Without any interruptions from Chris, it was like Johnny and I had finally been left alone. It was amazing.
"I'm going to bust college wide open. I'm ready for it. All these years that I've been in school? They should just go ahead and hand me a diploma. "Johnny's voice flows through that phone. I giggle and twirl the curly phone cord.
"Why does school take such a long time anyway? A lot of it is useless. "
"I don't know. It horrible though. The only thing good about it is that I met you. "He says smoothly making me blush. "On another note, I wanna have a baby. "
"Johnny you're forgetting one thing. "I say.
"What?"
"I'm a boy! I can't have a baby." I laugh. I hear him huff on the other end of the phone.
"You don't know that. I researched yesterday about hermaphrodites. You could very well be one. "
"A hermaphrodite? I'm pretty sure I'm just a boy." I look down into my pants. "Yep, no vagina to be found. "
"That doesn't mean anything! I think that if we have sex at least three times a day then maybe you'll end up pregnant. "
I laugh once more. "Can your mom hear you right now? I'm pretty sure she thinks somethings wrong with you. "
"First of all, she's the one who told me about this. Secondly, I'm not crazy. When you end up pregnant one day, don't come to me talking about 'How the hell did this happen?' Nope. I tried to tell you. "
"I'll try to remember for future purposes. "I giggle. "Do you want to go out to eat in a bit? I'm bored. "Johnny asks.
"Forget going out to eat, take me on vacation. I'm tired. "I groan as I walk over to the fridge and grab a container of strawberries to eat.
"One day I will. We're both deserving of a break right now. A lot has happened. "
"Eeeew. "These strawberries were not good at all. They were super bitter and a bit more firm than I'd like.
"But I'd really like to go to New York. I feel like that would be fun. Chris said that it was—" I cut myself off once I realized I was about to talk about my ex to my boyfriend.
"Never mind. "I mumble.
"It's fine, Jah. You're just talking about why you'd go to NY. You don't have to cut yourself off. "
"So how about baby names?" I change the subject. Johnny chuckles before speaking.
"I thought babies were ridiculous?"
