DANIEL had just slipped a shirt on when Jonah entered his room. "You awake Dani?" He called out before. "Yeah." Daniel yawned while making his bed. "Come down to breakfast with me."

Daniel looked over at Jonah hesitantly. He still always thought twice before leaving his room. "No one else is awake yet. Just me and you." Jonah assured. Daniel gave in and followed the taller boy out.

"What would Miss Riley like to eat this morning?" Jonah asked. "Hmm... waffles and maple syrup. Oh-and some bacon." Daniel nodded after telling Jonah. "Coming right up."

Daniel tried to take a seat on one of the island chairs, but it was harder than expected. They were too high. He grunted while struggling to step on with all of his new extra weight.

"A little help please." He whined. Jonah turned away from the stove and immediately came to Daniel's aid. "I got you." He murmured quickly before supporting Daniel from underneath his arm until he was finally seated.

"It's becoming hard huh?" Jonah gave him an apologetic look. "A little," Daniel shrugged. "But it'll be worth it." He smiled at the thought of having Riley in his arms in just a few months.

"Well, at least you're starting to glow." Jonah remarked before going back to cooking. "Really?" Daniel wondered. "Yeah, your skin looks amazing." He complimented. "Well thank you."

After that, Daniel tapped his fingers on the island, awaiting his food in silence. Jonah's back was facing him as he stood over the stove, frying the bacon. Daniel smiled to himself. Mornings like these with Jonah meant everything to him.

Suddenly, he felt a stabbing pain at the lower left of his stomach. Daniel immediately moaned in pain, making Jonah turn around instantly. "What's wrong?" Jonah ran over to Daniel's side.

Daniel's mouth was open agape as he placed his hand over the area where the pain was hitting. "Daniel, are you okay?" Jonah's face had immediately went into panic mode, a protective look in his eyes.

"She's kicking, Jonah! She's kicking!" Daniel squeaked. "Wh-Really?!" Jonah asked in shock. "Feel it!" Daniel grabbed Jonah's hand and quickly guided it to the place where Riley was kicking.

"O-Oh my god!" Jonah's reaction went from a surprised one to happy tears in a matter of seconds. A big smile was plastered on Daniel's face as he watched the father of his baby tear up.

Daniel's hand was placed over Jonah's while Riley poked at them. "She's kicking." Jonah whispered. As soon as the movement stopped, Daniel threw his arms around Jonah.

They didn't know that a moment like this would mean so much to them. But it did, because it only brought them one step closer to being parents. As Jonah pulled away, he placed a soft kiss on Daniel's cheek.

"Uh- What's going on in here?" Jack barged in on their moment. "Riley just kicked." Jonah said excitedly. "What? And I missed it!" Daniel chuckled. "You'll be the first to feel next time."

I had a dream where I was making out with Daniel and honestly yo he was better in a dream than my ex was irl 🐸☕️
