You were in your P. J's watching your shows on the television. Eating your left-over Pizza as you kept checking your phone. You rolled your eyes noticing the time was now early morning, Alex still hadn't returned home. You had been together over a year, given his work schedule and the distance he had asked you to stay at his; on a semi-moving in basis. The pair of you had hoped and planned that the lack of distance would make the pre-existing tensions disappear. However, you had grown tired of waiting up for him to come home from work. He would leave in the morning by 5am, he wouldn't return some nights until 2-3 am. When he did have a night off he wanted to spend it out drinking with his friends and co-stars. You hadn't minded, he worked hard, and you could appreciate him wanting some down time. The last couple of days you had realised that you had never been physically closer. However, your relationship had never been more strained; the communication had never been so non-existent between you two. You were beginning to feel as though you were better off at home, even for the sake of your relationship.

As if on cue, the door of the apartment opened. You closed your laptop screen, hiding the tabs of the flight tickets you were thinking of buying. You made your way through the hallway, and into the spare room of the apartment. Given the late nights and early starts, you had managed to make it feel a little homely. As you settled into bed, your laptop screen back open, the door had creaked open, Alex peering his head in through the crack.

"You're still awake?" he asked his voice croaky.

"I'm just paying for something and then I'll be asleep" You replied, your voice monotone, partially from the annoyance and partially from the tiredness that had began to show.

"What are you paying for?" Alex asked raising a brow, he edged the door open and made his way to the bed.

"Don't worry, I'm paying" You replied, rolling your eyes, and hiding the screen.

"did I ask who was paying? Let me see what you're buying!" He said, swiping the laptop off your lap. His tired eyes widening as scanned the screen. "these are one way" he paused, scanning once more "They're only for one person?" He asked looking at you. You could see the pain on his face, your heart sank.

"I want to go home Alex" You replied, taking the screen back. Shaking your head at the realisation of this being the most he had spoken to you setting in.

"But, you just got here?" He asked, his tone showing his annoyance.

"It's for the best" You replied quickly, your bed dropping at the lose of his body next to yours. He turned his back to you walked out, you could hear the clicking of his lighter going as he walked off. Your own annoyance now setting in.

"Why are you acting like this?" you asked through the door.

"Acting what? Hurt? Sad? Pissed off that my girlfriend who had just arrived by the way, is going home already!" his voice raising with every question.

"You're never here Alex! I'm alone" you raised your voice back, the sound of him taking a drag is the only sound that could be hear.

"I'm working I told you!" he argued back.

"When you're not working Alex, you're everywhere but here! With me!" You huffed, your feet stamping in annoying. "I Bet you don't even realise this is the most we have spoken since my first week here!" You cried angrily, your tone shaking now growing annoyed at yourself for crying. The statements and raised voices grew louder, the crying had ceased, and you had turned your back on Alex; ready to walk back to your room. Until his hand had reached and grabbed yours. Pulling you back outside and into him. You had no time to register what was happening, by the time you opened your eyes Alex's lips were on yours, his tongue grazing your lips for entry. Your first balling up the fabric of his shirt, pulling him in as close as possible to you. Your lips parted, your tongue met his, the pair dancing a dance neither of you had forgotten.

It wasn't long until Alex had your arse resting on the railing of the balcony, your nightdress skirt pulled up to your hips, his jeans undone, and his boxers eased down. His prick already brushing at your entrance, your moaned tightening your grip around his neck, worried you may fall back. Alex groaned as he found the warmth of your core, his prick stretching you in the ways you had almost forgotten. His arms supporting your back, ensuring not to drop you. His cries brushing past your ear, as they were carried away either the night breeze. With each thrust your hand drug deeper into his back and shoulder, wherever you could reach. Feeling a little better each time, giving the anger that had built.

Each cry and hiss that left his mouth becoming chases and hushed as the pair of you chased your ends, Alex rocking up and down into you, your walls tightening around him, as if steadying yourself from shaking. After a moment had passed, long enough to catch your own breath, steadying your heart beats. Alex carried you back inside the warmth of your apartment.

"I promise I will do better" he whispered, kissing your neck "Please stay" he begged. You looked down at him, his hair sticking to his forehead his blue eyes still hinting at the emotion left over from before making up on the balcony.

"You have to try" You nodded, Alex nodding as he pulled you in by your neck and placing his lips to yours.
