AN: As you all know expecting mothers are told how to take care of children and know how too. I just thought it would be fun to ignore that and just see how things would play out if she knew none of that until Takumi came along and she had to learn.

Cinder's POV

He is finally here! After nine months of carrying this baby around he is finally here! His name is Takumi.

*Ten minutes later*

"Hey Kai, why doesn't our baby have any teeth?" I asked.

"Cinder it's been ten minutes? Maybe you should get some sleep. You look pretty tired."

I wasn't sleeping until I knew my child was going to be okay! "Kai he has no teeth!
Why are you not worried about this? He can't eat anything!" Why is he not worried? Is there something I'm missing? I'm sure I had teeth when I was a baby? Right?

"Cinder how old were you when you burned?" He questioned.

"Three...?" Where is he going with this?

"And how old were you when you went to live with the Linhs?" He should know these things! We are married!

"Kai I was eleven. Don't you know this?"

"Of course I know this Cinder, but are you aware that baby grow in their teeth after they are born?"

Oh stars. He won't be able to eat? And he can't survive on just liquids, can he? "How long until he has teeth?" I frantically asked.

"They will start to grow in in a few months. So you really thought that babies were born with teeth? Cinder...?"

I didn't know how to respond. I just stared at the wall holding my baby close while I still had the chance. He won't survive. How can he? How does anybody survive months with no food?

"Cinder!" I felt a light shake that brought me back to reality. I wanted to cry and Kai could sense that. "Cinder what's wrong?"
My head aches. "He can't live without food Kai! He won't survive the wait for his teeth.

Kai's face went from worry to confusion.

"Cinder. Babies eat baby food. It's just puréed vegetables and fruits so that they don't have to chew. You really thought our child was going to die? Do you not know what babies are like?"

I'm glad Kai is understanding because I'm sure any other man at this moment would have regretted marrying a woman who knows nothing about children. Boy is this gonna be fun...
