Chapter 11

"I don't want to hear it I'll find him myself!" I said as I stormed out of the room and slammed the door shut.

"I need that gun!" I said to myself

I saw him put the gun down on the bed and rub his hand through his hair like he is frustrated he was pacing back and forth. When he got to the side here he wouldn't see me when I walked in a took my chance. I opened the door quietly and ran up fast and grabbed the gun and ran out and shut the door quietly just in time.

"Perfect."

Should I take the chance and call him?

No he'll just tell me not to do anything.

I grabbed my keys out of my pocket and got in the car and quickly drove away. I saw the officer in the mirror looking over the balcony with his hand in the hair. I had a plan and I knew it would work. I called Christine

"Hello?"

"Hey,its me Nicole."

"Hey Nicole."

"I was wondering if you wanted to go get lunch and just sit and talk?"

"Uh."

"Sure I would love to!" she said with a bit of hesitation

"Good meet me at Apple Bees at 12."

"Okay see you then."

It was 11:45 and I started driving towards Apple Bees. I know you think I'm crazy for hanging out with a physco but when I pull and see her car is there meaning she got there before me I'm going to go into her car to see if she has a GPS. I hope it's unlocked.

I pull into the parking lot and see her car there "yes!" I park and get out and run over to her car duck down and pull the handlebar and sure enough...its unlocked I get in the passengers side and rummage through everything making sure not to make a mess. I'm so stupid the GPS was right on the window being held up by a suction cup. I turn it on and go to recent places:There was only one place so I'm guessing that's it:

Oak Mountain Drive.

I skipped my lunch with her without even calling and telling I didn't care I wanted my boyfriend back. I plugged Oak Mountain Drive into my GPS and it showed a yellow line directing me where to go.

It was about a 15 minute minute drive and when I pulled onto the dirt road there was only one building.

I got out and examined the area and started yelling "CODY?" I heard nothing the doors were locked to the building and it was pitch black. I checked all doors and all windows to see if Cody was anywhere to be found. Nope. Other than the building there was nothing else in sight I could see. Then I walked to the window again and made sure but when I took my last step I felt something hard under my feet not dirt but medal then I jumped up and down and heard pounding.

I got down on my hands and knees pounded my fist there was something under there like a door. Dirt was covering it so I took my hands swiped it away. I knew that Christine was going to be here soon so I had to hurry. I saw the two doors and saw a pad lock I grabbed a rock and hit it as hard as I could until it broke. It looked like a tornado shelter but I knew it was used for a whole new purpose. I took the rock down with me incase I needed to break another padlock and sure enough I did there were only 3 doors so I broke the lock to the first door and saw Cody sitting there.

"Cody!"

"Oh my gosh Nicole untie me."

Before I could do so I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and pull me back out of the room.

"NO LET HER GO!" I heard as I being pulled out.
