Nicody True Love

Chapter 23

{Cody's pov}

"They have found a babies body." he stated

I immediately got out of my chair and ran up stairs to get Nicole. I got into Emily's room he wasn't there, I ran i to our room she wasn't there. As I was walking out of are room she walked out of the bathroom her hair was wet so she must have taken a shower.

"We have to go."

"Go where?"

"They found a babies body."

"WHO'S?" she screamed then tears poured out of her eyes.

"We don't know yet we have to follow Detective Hail."

She ran down stairs put her slippers on that she could wear outside and ran out and into the car. I ran down right after we grabbed the car keys and ran to the car.

I pulled out of the drive way and followed the Detective. About 10 minutes into the car ride I reached over and grabbed Nicole's hand. Then she started crying again.

"We just have to pray." I stated then starting crying.

We finally got to the destination and got out of the car. We followed he Detective.

"Stay back for a minute." Detective Hail stated

He went up to the body took a quick look and then looked at us. I was shaking so bad. Nicole got down on her knees and stared crying.

"It's not her." he stated

"Oh thank god!" Nicole said in a cry

{Nicole's pov}

We got back in the car to go back home, it was silent the whole way. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I think back to just a few minutes ago after the detective told us it wasn't her he came up to us and told 'a baby probably won't be alive after 48 hours' today was the second say she was gone.

When we got home I went straight to bed and cued myself to sleep.

I woke up in the morning to the bright sun shining in my face. I rolled over to see if Cody was there but he didn't even sleep in here I know that because the blankets looked just liked they did last night.

I walked down stairs to find Cody asleep on the couch with the news on. Of course they were broadcasting about Emily's kidnapping.

I walked in the kitchen and grabbed a water I must have been loud because Cody woke up right away.

"Good morning." Cody said as he stretched

"Uh we need to talk."

"Okay?"

"I have thought long and hard about his, I am going to stay at Zach and Victoria's place for a little."

"Why would you do that?"

"I need some time."

"What do you mean time I'm your husband!" he shouted

"Cody don't be mad."
