I bent down and slowly lifted the mask up.
"No way." Cody mumbled
"It Frankie, why would he do this to us?"
"Nicole go get the neighbors and ask to use their phone."
I did as he said and walked over. It was late. I knocked on the door and waited a few minutes, then someone answered.
"Nicole what wrong?"
"Someone broke in but now he is
knocked out and we need your phone to call the police."
"Sure thing." she said as she turned around to get the phone.
"Here."
I called and a few minutes later the police arrived.
Detective Hail walked in.
"Another one?"
"Yep, it's Frankie G." Cody stated
"Cuff him." he shouted and woke up Emily since we had her crib in the living room.
"Oops, sorry guys,"
I just shrugged my shoulders and walked over to her crib.
"Hello, baby girl." She stopped after I said that and smiled
"Ma-ma?"
"Good job baby." I said as I clapped my hands. I walked over to Cody.
"She just said mama."
"Well how about that." Cody said with a huge smile on his face.

20 minutes later everyone left and Emily fell asleep. Now it's just Cody and I.
"I don't feel safe anymore." I said flatly
"What do you mean?"
"I mean there are people after us, we aren't safe."
