Chapter 20

{Nicoles's pov}

I get out of bed and goto call my mom to tell her the news.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom."

"Hey Sweetie."

"I got some good news!"

"And what's that?"

"I'm pregnant!"

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah, you going to be a grandma!"

"That's wonderful I wish I could stay and talk but I have to go to work."

"Okay bye love you."

"Bye honey love you."

Cody has been coming to all the doctors appointments with me. Today we had an appointment that told us the sex of the baby.

We walk into the doctors office and sit and wait for the doctor.

"Nicole Calaifore?" The doctor asked

We stood up and followed him.

She put the gel on my stomach and took the device and started running it around.

"Do you guys want to know the sex if the baby?"

I look up and Cody and he nods.

"We would love to know!"

"It's a girl!"

Me and Cody just looked up at each other and smiled.

*9 months later*

I was so big I couldn't even get comfortable in my own bed, I was due in a week but I think the baby is coming early.

I hit Cody on the shoulder as I hard as I could without trying to hurt him he woke up right away and rolled over.

"What's wrong?"

"My water broke!"

He got up grabbed the bag we packed for the hospital, put on a shirt, and helped me out of bed and into the car.

We arrived to the hospital he told the lady at the desk my water broke, the next thing I knew I was being sat down in a wheel chair.

I was in a room laying down on a hospital bed with the doctors telling me to 'Push!' Then I looked over and saw Cody he was holding my hand.

I pushed one last time and baby came out.

"Is she okay?" I asked

"Yes, all 5 fingers and toes." The doctor stated

They gave me my baby and I held her until they took her away to clean her off.

"I can't believe we have a daughter." Cody stated

The next morning we got to go home with are daughter Emily.

Cody helps me out of the car and grabbed the seat that Emily was in the: little cradle with the handle above. We took the seat and clipped it into the original seat and buckled her in.

The last couple of days have been if Emily crying a lot, me resting and taking care of the baby.
