The ripples in the wind we cannot see
And, yet, they fly across both land and sea
To tumble through the fabric of our lives
And from those ripples, all of life derives
A shift that's never witnessed in a breath
Seldom witnessed from a birth to death
How do we steer the craft to splendid cove
Through unseen ripples witlessly we rove
Attention paid to clouds and lightning strikes
Willy-nilly, plundered by the likes
The thunder adds more ripples to the wind
All progress towards our goal, we now rescind
A sense we must develop for the ripples
Or end our time as life's unwitting cripples
